To find this weird...

Got an envelope pushed through the door just now and in it was a ring. Not a particularly expensive one not that it matters. It didn't look new. On the envelope it had a phone number inside but it was not written, sort of stuck on numbers. I am a bit wtf to be honest. What's that all about?!

What type of ring? Are you going to call the number? Do you have a partner? Could be the wrong house?

Weird agree with googling it. I had two keys posted through my door a little while back. Not my door keys and no note!

I'd be a bit cautious of ringing the number. Could be a way to determine who lives at what house i.e lone female, elderly etc.

I called the number (Blocked my number ) and a man answered. He was as Wtf as me. Very odd indeed 😕

The obvious message is to Ring this Number but it looks like that didn’t shed any light on the matter. Unless you and phone man are both single and a secret common friend is trying to set you up ...

Maybe it’s a secret code not a phone number. It is a proper ring (silver or gold) or more like costume jewellery? Does the ring fit?

I don't know how to block parts of it out as obviously a full number would not be appropriate to post. The ring is like a cubic zirconia type one so not expensive. Fairly small but adult sized.

Is it definitely a phone number? Could it possibly be a number re something else, like a repair docket number?

It does sound as if it has been delivered to you by mistake.
