I saw someone talking about their "freezered" food.

ClemDanFango · 22/10/2019 09:56

Be careful with cheese on spag bowl if you’re lack toast intolerant, bone apple teeth, injoy!

x2boys · 22/10/2019 10:00

A Facebook friend of mine posted a picture of her son in his schoolchildren and Simone comments that he looked very swarve .

PenelopeFlintstone · 22/10/2019 10:04

We call it Spag Bog in Aus
Spag bol in my bit of Aus, but I have heard of your version.
But I just tested something I’d heard, and autocorrect changed my bol to bowl. It only works once though and then let’s you type bol. So it could just be autocorrect.

MitziK · 22/10/2019 10:04

No 'spaded girl' dogs yet?

That always puts me in mind of somebody performing the procedure with a small gardening implement.

Mandatorymongoose · 22/10/2019 10:07

My DD was trying to spell nauseous the other day (after celebrating her birthday). She tried "nautious" and then "Nauchaus". Fortunately this was just in messenger to me and not on Facebook.

I think Nauchaus might be a German techno group.

Downunderduchess · 22/10/2019 10:17

I've been watching Love Island Australia, they think dis-genuine is a word... I'm not being dis-genuine, I really have feelings for you.

x2boys · 22/10/2019 10:18

To be fair auto correct can make even the best spellers look illiterate .

Daddystilllost · 22/10/2019 10:21

PLEASE PLEASE correct them!!!!

NurseButtercup · 22/10/2019 10:24

they think dis-genuine is a word
Blimey....

It took me ages to find out the meaning of "yano".

Yano = You know...

Phoebesgift · 22/10/2019 10:27

Theres a spaghetti bol photo on my FB thread. It was posted by a lady with special needs who was proud of her husband (also special needs) cooking his first meal for them as a married couple.

NurseButtercup · 22/10/2019 10:27

@Daddystilllost

PLEASE PLEASE correct them!!!!

No point, they don't care! And apparently it's rude to correct poor spelling, grammar and punctuation Hmm

Daddystilllost · 22/10/2019 10:29

@NurseButtercup I can't help myself! It's like a tick Confused

HoppingPavlova · 22/10/2019 10:29

We call it Spag Bog in Aus.

Where the hell do you liveGrin? I’m over half a century in Aus and have never heard that only ever Spag bol.

A lot of these issues are generally due to autocorrect these days. I look at some things I’ve written and no way did I type what it ended up as but we are all so quick these days it’s just a quick type and send. What’s received can be very different to what was typed and I’d be pissed if someone thought I was clueless with some of my autocorrects and made fun of me. Case in point, when typing this bol was autocorrected to bom and while an acronym it’s not even a word in English. So according to my phone we eat Spag bom in AustraliaHmm.

Starstruck2020 · 22/10/2019 10:49

@HoppingPavlova I’m in Perth.... maybe I’m just a bogan? Interestingly Bogan used to get shortened to Bog too (back in the 80s)

Interestingly, if you google spag bog. There is an article talking about it from 2015 and saying it’s come from England! It’s one of the newspaper web pages so I don’t want to link it here

coldwarenigma · 22/10/2019 10:55

Did they brought it at the supermarket?

SingingLily · 22/10/2019 10:57

Did they brought it at the supermarket?

If they didn't, they should of Confused

FenceFuckery · 22/10/2019 11:01

Was it devine?

jamoncrumpets · 22/10/2019 11:02

'Red sauce' for 'spag bowl' was one of the reasons I deleted my FB

HomeTheatreSystem · 22/10/2019 11:03

Reticent to say this but some of these comments are getting a bit viscous Grin

thenorthernluce · 22/10/2019 11:05

Bridget Jones called it spag bog in her diary, way back in 1996 (or was it 1995?). But that’s by the by as I call it spag bol Grin
