We have twin boys who are 3, both autistic and non verbal.

They love songs and one has recently started signing for more so I want to try and encourage them. They also don’t have much interest in people especially other children.

After doing some reading I decided to buy a living puppet / signing puppet and it’s just arrived...

This thing is going to come to life and kill with its empty floppy hands, isn’t it?

We had this elephant thing where you put rings on the trunk and made an annoying giggle. The battery was dying and one night I came downstairs to make bottles and I heard this slow creepy demonic giggle. Took me 20 mins to find what it was.

I hope the OP updates that her puppet is actually a singer.... A battery operated one and she can't find the battery. Hmmmmmmmmm Now that's a dilemma most mothers have had.

Mostly people obtain the data for their lives from films. In your case Chucky the killer doll with the soul of a murderer. So yes unless you can do away with it first which as we all know is impossible.

We got DS a singing, dancing Bear in the Big Blue House toy when he was little. DH put it on the tray of the high chair while DS was in it.

Bear starts singing, walking forwards.....and punching DS in the face with his waving hands. DS traumatised. Bad mummy crying laughing.

I have it's evil jester twin . Dd2 loves it and keeps putting it on the rocking chair, v psycho.
