Too early for a pint?

So I'm going on holiday and I'm going to London first where I'm meeting a friend for lunch. I was going to go to a pub for a fry up first and I'm in the mood for a pint. Just wondering would 10am be weirdly freakishly early to have a pint with my brekkie? Confused If you saw a relatively normal looking 30 something woman sitting in a pub at 10am chowing down on vegan sausages and swilling back some IPA would you be judging?

I thought you meant now! 7:43 is quite early for a pint ..

Shouldershrugger · 18/10/2019 07:44

Not judging at all. But definitely too early for a drink...

Whoops75 · 18/10/2019 07:44

I’d be jealous.

Enjoy

SillyLittleBiscuit · 18/10/2019 07:45

Drink the pint. It’s a one off. You’re on holiday. Enjoy.

KatherineJaneway · 18/10/2019 07:45

I wouldn't judge. People drink at all hours for many reasons.

Chickenwing · 18/10/2019 07:46

Of course not! If they are selling it at 10am, then it's fine to drink it at 10am and I wouldnt judge. Plus a pint with a fry up sounds like a good combo.

CalmdownJanet · 18/10/2019 07:46

You're on holiday so go for it!

Thirza38 · 18/10/2019 07:47

It's cocktail hour somewhere in the world 😊

stucknoue · 18/10/2019 07:47

The airport is full of people drinking pints at 5am!

WhoKnewBeefStew · 18/10/2019 07:48

Never too early if you're going on holiday/are on holiday

Pardonwhat · 18/10/2019 07:48

I’d raise my eyebrows more at your vegan sausages than pint Grin

Have a nice holiday!

Blubluboo · 18/10/2019 07:49

Ignore other people. I always have a pint at an airport no matter what time of day (unless I literally don't feel in the mood, which is rare because holiday mode makes me want a drink)

gwackywacky · 18/10/2019 07:49

@Chickenwing One of my fondest times was being a student and going to Spoons for a fry up and pint and you could smoke inside. Those were the days. Funny how things change as you get older. 22 year old me wouldn't have thought twice.

I've decided to channel my inner 22 year old today. I might go and buy something hideous and inappropriate to wear from a charity shop while I wait for my friend Grin

@gwackywacky man I'm jealous, that sounds lit.

gwackywacky · 18/10/2019 07:50

Spoons did fry ups until noon. We were always hung over and used to get there at 11.55 which must have really pissed off the chef/manager.

No. I have holiday breakfast drinks but also might have a drink in the morning if I’m out for breakfast lunch and have been awake long enough for it to feel later x

Thetruth02 · 18/10/2019 07:51

@pardonwhat I’d raise my eyebrows even more at someone who happily baked a Camembert just a few days ago eating them. Hmm

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 18/10/2019 07:52

Do it.
Live the ‘Spoons dream

gwackywacky · 18/10/2019 07:53

@Thetruth02 I'm not vegan but I like the breakfast at this pub because the vegan sausages are damn tasty plus it comes with smashed avocado on top of the hash browns

If you fancy it, have it.
When I go on holiday I’ll always have a glass of champagne, whatever the time!

Passthecherrycoke · 18/10/2019 07:59

gwackywacky Sometimes we’d be so hungover we’d get there at like 2pm and I’d have gammon egg and chips as that seemed the most like a cooked breakfast

Thetruth02 · 18/10/2019 07:59

@gwackywacky and you don’t even have the stress of smashing it yourself Wink enjoy!

MeTheeAndACupOfTea · 18/10/2019 08:00

I would be shocked and judge.

That you only had 1 pint Grin

chipsandpeas · 18/10/2019 08:01
