@AdoreTheBeach @Marinetta

I haven't actually done anything wrong or insulted her at all though? I've actually said I want to keep relations good. I just wanted my money back!

Witchinaditch · 15/10/2019 09:23

@Marinetta I agree especially with the new name could be interpreted as rude so if she’s seen this thread I’d be careful OP!

diddl · 15/10/2019 09:25

You've got all your money back, OP.

So what's the plan for Friday??!!

Amelia2000 · 15/10/2019 09:26

OK I will sign out now.

Thanks for all of your help and advice. I have laughed a lot at some of your posts!

I'm so disappointed that this hasn't descended into chaos with OP yelling "WHERE'S MY CHONG YOU EFFING DONG" and everyone else in the office banging cutlery and chanting in protest of lunch club halting.

If this fizzles out I'm going to be so disappointed.

I think you should refuse to order for her, just for our entertainment Grin

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/10/2019 09:30

I will be watching this thread Friday morning to see what happens next!

frazzledasarock · 15/10/2019 09:30

Hurrah you’ve got your money back.

All of it.

I’d skip the lunch club this week if I were you say it’s been on the advice of HR.

I don’t think she’s read the thread. I do think she went to HR to complain about you ‘bullying’ her into paying you back the rest of the money she owed you and HR took your side and told her to do it as you are right.

She’s acting breezy to make out like she had a good discussion in HR, instead of the bollocking she probably got.

Idontwanttotalk · 15/10/2019 09:36

@DonnaPaulsenSpecter

"OP, firstly, well done for taking MadameTwatFace's ridiculously pathetic comments so well. I think it's best if we all collectively ignore her hereafter as clearly she has nothing of value to say."
I haven't read whatever MadameTwatFace had written that has bothered people but trying to get others to collectively ignore someone is nasty and childish. It reminds me of the behaviour of school bullies. I'm sure others can decide for themselves whether to engage with or ignore someone else's posts.

SunshineCake · 15/10/2019 09:40

I understand why you are doing it but stop making excuses for why you want your own money back.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/10/2019 09:43

I reckon she got an email from HR

TheRobinIsBobbingAlong · 15/10/2019 09:47

I envisage whole swathes of MN users are now going to have to trawl the threads for a new drama to keep them going through the day Grin

myolivetree · 15/10/2019 09:49

@MiddleClassProblem Yes! They called her in.

She has super brass neck! She's always had internet banking, course she has. Those horses are bleeding her dry.

CallMeRachel · 15/10/2019 09:50

What a fake bitch she is. This whole debacle would leave a very bad taste in my mouth and frankly I would rather stick pins in my eyes than facilitate her getting any more discounted lunches.

I think she's gone to HR as your text mentioned something about being advised by HR - I CBA to scroll back through to find out what you sent, but I think that's what's triggered it. They'll have said she needs to pay as she orders and her failing to do so will lead you to stop the lunches all together.

Don't be too nice. She's been absolutely awful. People like her are so dangerous, her behaviour from the moment she's been challenged has been manipulative and nasty.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 15/10/2019 09:51

I’m glad for you that it has all come to a calm solution.

Never fear drama seekers, the world is full of cheeky fuckers, there will be another thread along soon.

Witchinaditch · 15/10/2019 09:54

I find it so bizarre that she didn’t have internet banking... I don’t think that’s true and it usually takes more than a day to set up online banking for the first time (I just got a new phone and had to re set everything up was a nightmare)

ForeverFaff · 15/10/2019 09:54

I think HR are going to ban the lunch club, hence her smugness. She's paid up, and will now frame it as your brutal money grabbing ways that ruined it, not her innocent bank troubles.

hellsbellsmelons · 15/10/2019 10:03

I don't think HR can dictate where you get your lunch from.
Especially if you are offering discount and free delivery due to your card to other employees.
Seems an odd thing to do.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/10/2019 10:04

@myolivetree

It said she went not that she was called in...

Motoko · 15/10/2019 10:09

I don't think she's read the thread. There's only a tiny percentage of people in the UK who are members and regular readers of MN.

It's more likely that HR have spoken to her.

myolivetree · 15/10/2019 10:11

@MiddleClassProblem

Yes think they emailed her yesterday and she went straight in. Perhaps they put 2+2 together after OP spoke to them and then she requested leave etc etc " are there problems CF?"

myolivetree · 15/10/2019 10:12

Or HR read MNWink

Windygate · 15/10/2019 10:14

I bet this and the other thread will disappear in the very near future. CF and possibly HR will be aware of the threads. CF will allege she's being bullied.

CallMeRachel · 15/10/2019 10:23

I hope not.

This new trick of pulling the bullying card should be shot down in flames at the first sniffle.

I do think B has been in touch with HR on Friday and tried to claim she's been bullied but in questioning her they've gone through the situation with the lunches and op asking to be paid.

Not one single person on these threads, or in the office have thought op was in any way oppressive or in the wrong. There's no way HR could think that way either. The only person with the skewed way of thinking is B.

The fact she didn't even reply to op text is so rude. Where do these creatures exist?! Confused

Redshoesandtheblues · 15/10/2019 10:25

Well, at least OP got her monies 😁 back. And all is right in the office....till Friday.

Shefliesonherownwings · 15/10/2019 10:29

Or she's got a new new job, maybe she had an interview yesterday and went into HR to hand her notice in? Could be anything.
