@Djimino - you freaking love the drama, who are you trying to fool?! 😂

You filled up the previous thread, and here you are, with front row seats on this thread.

Pull the other one love, you're no better than any of us. Wink

earlynightneeded · 15/10/2019 08:06

Oooooohhhhhhhhhhh I'm off to class now I was dying for an update before I went 😫

diddl · 15/10/2019 08:12

Has Op changed their username??

Hope not-then I'll have to read everythingSad

Theflying19 · 15/10/2019 08:13

Collecting debts is not bullying. 🙄
Or how would banks ever repossess, or bailiffs recover plasma flat screen TVs?
You are not excluding her. She is excluding herself if she chooses not to pay upfront.
Do you not remember the mantra of school Webb Ivory catalogues of yesteryear - money with order, or no order.

Crankybitch · 15/10/2019 08:14

If you send the email I would copy in HR so that she can’t say she is being bullied if you don’t buy her lunch on Friday...

WhoKnewBeefStew · 15/10/2019 08:15

Love the new title Grin

Llioed · 15/10/2019 08:31

No, OP hasn’t changed her name - still the same.

Amelia2000 · 15/10/2019 08:32

Morning everyone. It's not me that has changed their username, I am still boring old Amelia, never fear.

So she hasn't replied to my text and she hasn't paid anything into my bank as of checking about 30 seconds ago.

She should be here in the office imminently. I've actually got a bit of a sick feeling in my stomach, not quite sure what's going to happen this morning.

I absolutely gasped when I read that B has only refunded your in part. This goes way beyond cheeky.

What on earth makes her think that it is fine for everyone else to pay on the day but she is allowed to leave it until....well, whenever she feels like it? The cheek is breathtaking - even if she firmly believes her own theory on only paying at the end of the month, common decency would surely dictate that she follows what everyone else does and pay on the day?

Sad as it is, OP, I would take HR’s advice and put a stop to lunch club. B is such a piece of work, I wouldn’t at all put it past her to raise a grievance about bullying (but I would be letting everyone know, in no uncertain terms whose fault it was that lunch club was ruined).

EmpressJewel · 15/10/2019 08:35

Good luck, OP.

Remember, you haven't done anything wrong.

CrotchetyQuaver · 15/10/2019 08:39

Good luck OP
I think she's well and truly blown your goodwill now, no more lunches for her EVER again.

She's brought this all on herself so don't feel bad.

I hope she does pay you what she owes today, but I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't.

diddl · 15/10/2019 08:40

" I am still boring old Amelia, never fear."

Ah good, you're still highlighted!

Noooo, not boring.

Amelia2000 · 15/10/2019 08:45

So she's here, she went straight into HR? And is still in there 10 mins later. My ears are burning!

Sushiroller · 15/10/2019 08:46

Just keep telling yourself you are not being unreasonable... because you aren't.

This woman sounds a total nightmare and fwiw i think your message was good as you do have to work with her and a bad atmosphere isn't nice for anyone.

Simultaneously, accept you can't control her idiot behaviour, only your own. So there may be an atmosphere but she will be the cause not you.

NotSorry · 15/10/2019 08:47

Well HR already know about her not paying, so hopefully all is good for you OP

Justkeeprollingalong · 15/10/2019 08:49

You have done nothing wrong OP. Good thing you've already spoken to HR yourself.

alioliloved · 15/10/2019 08:50

Oh dear, not sure what leg she has to stand on though

cstaff · 15/10/2019 08:50

It could have been an interview she was at yesterday and is now handing in her notice and if it costs you £11 it will be £11 well spent to get rid of an atmosphere that nobody wants to work under.

coconuttelegraph · 15/10/2019 08:53

I hope your HR department isn't a wishy wasn't one, it seems like you can't even look at anyone in a workplace now without being accused of bullying. They need to tell her to pay her debts and move on

coconutpie · 15/10/2019 08:53

Oh this will be an interesting morning if she's in there with HR!

frazzledasarock · 15/10/2019 08:58

Glad you’d already told HR what was going on.

And also it’s a good job your text was nice.

Can’t see HR getting particularly worked up about your role in this if she’s in there complaining about you asking for your money.

Amelia2000 · 15/10/2019 08:59

So she's out of HR and back at her desk, all smiles and "morning everyone!!". E has just asked her what she got up to yesterday. She said she had some personal things to sort out? She's just offered everyone a cup of coffee/tea and is now in the kitchen. E is trying to get me to say something to her. She is in a weirdly happy mood and it's unnerving.
