To ask for your pictures of washing machines?

I have a three year old autistic DS who is in love with washing machines. He loves looking at photographs of them, and often my friends will send me pictures of theirs so that he can get a good fix. He particularly likes talking about the brands and the number of kg the washing machine can hold Grin

I'm starting a new job with longer hours today, so it will be a hard transition for him. Some washing machine pictures would cheer him up I'm sure! Google is fine for images but this would make it a little more personal.

So: would it BU of me to ask for pictures of your washing machines? Blush

Here's our Bosch with Dcat hoping for an extra feed. It's a 9kg machine and very reliable except that I regularly have to remove tiny toys, coins and DH's shirt collar stiffeners from the filter.

This is our washing machine. Also shown with Finn the dog whose favourite thing is to steal socks and pants from it as I'm trying to load it!

Well, I thought I would attach an image of my boy in his favourite environment: his beloved local Curry's (they are extremely patient with us). Here he is hugging his favourite machine goodbye. It's a Miele. The kid has expensive taste Wink

This is a Hoover machine.

My autistic son is 8 & obsessed with hand dryers (a Dyson sends him giddy with excitement), so I get where you're coming from!

I asked for my photo to be removed as in amongst all the mess of the utility room there was something identifying, however tomorrow I will show a better pic from a better angle.

Here is a sanitary (see what I did there!) lesson in what happens if you use washing up liquid instead of washing liquid in the machine!
No washing machines were permanently damaged in the making of this photo and two years on this machine is still going strong.

Here's ours....complete with laundry on the floor next to it.

Our 3yo son is autistic and his thing is having numbers written/painted/chalked/made out of playdoh for him over and over and over and over!!

Our local SN school has a child that loves watching washing machines so much that they've got one set up now just for him to watch in his golden time which is lovely. They will arrange anything that will motivate a child, no matter how obscure.

As you can see he already has both the Casdon and the Miele...and one or two others Shock Thank you for your time and effort. We are always on the lookout for ones we haven't heard of. You never know when they might crop up in a charity shop!

Like a PP, I am a great believer in indulging his obsessions hobbies. Hence the display of fine toy washers! Now I'm off to bed and will probably dream of the damn things Grin

I miss my old 7kg indesit, total basic workhorse and took us through 2 kids in cloth nappies without a fuss. It was fine until 10 years in about 50 things went wrong at the same time so not worth repairing. I got a new whirlpool 10kg (pictured) which is the quietest and least water usage I could find. Bonus tumble dryer pic which we never use now since installing a pulley maid!

There are days when my domestic machines are so inadequate that I'd be drinking int that pub with the outdoor machines!
