To declare Potted Meat underrated?

Nothing better on crackers with finely sliced raw onion 👄
Don't even mention warm on toast, I can't ever only have two slices.

What do you think is the most over looked/ underrated?

potted meat is lovely- made it myself once with a pigs head from the local butcher- he almost proposed when he found out what it was for...thought I was a 'grand strapping lass' !

I like boiled tongue as well and brawn and kidneys and liver but can't be doing with tripe

Potted beef has a high meat content, and I buy mine from a local butcher who makes his own.

I like the crab paste but would never eat the 'meat' ones.

Shippams paste is nothing like the real thing. Proper potted beef is amazing.

Oh god tomato sausage, haven't had that for years. I grew up in Yorkshire and had it there but haven't ever seen it in the North East (please fellow North Easterners, if you know where there's a tomato sausage stash I'd be very grateful)

In the village where I grew up there was a little independent butchers who did potted meat it was a fab after school treat.
