What is the going rate? I have been told £60 per day plus lunch fees is reasonable but I think it is on the high end. Plus lunch costs.

Ours is £67 per day for an under 2 including lunch.

Sayhellotothethings · 09/10/2019 17:50

I was talking to some friends about this and it depends entirely where you live. A chain like Busy Bees can be £55 a day in the midlands or £103 in Hertfordshire.

myself2020 · 09/10/2019 18:01

It depends where you are. for us (SW) £65 a day is average. for my SIL in the northeast, its more £45

Mintypea5 · 09/10/2019 18:07

Depends what area of the country you are but that sounds pretty average to me

Our area ranges from 800-1600 for full time places a month

BlodwynBludd · 09/10/2019 18:08

South east, £65 not including food

EssentialHummus · 09/10/2019 18:08

In my corner of London it’s £65-£90(!) p/day.

vikkimoog · 09/10/2019 18:08

£35 per day for the childminders round here: semi rural lancashire

Walkerbean16 · 09/10/2019 18:09

55 a day includes everything. In York.

londonrach · 09/10/2019 18:14

65 for busy bees. Watch out for wrap around care when you get your free hours.

Sayhellotothethings · 09/10/2019 18:15

No I'm not in London, I'm not far from Plymouth

I’m near Plymouth and pay £48 per day including 3 meals and 2 snacks. Supply our own nappies and wipes.

Seemed pretty average when we were looking.

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 09/10/2019 18:19

Nodancingshoes · 09/10/2019 18:20

Ours is £46 a day including food - South West.

DrPimplePopper · 09/10/2019 18:21

£48 in a not affluent area in Manchester includes food, not formula or nappies

DonnaDarko · 09/10/2019 18:22

It completely depends on where you are.

I know someone in London who was paying 90 a day.

We're paying 49 per day in Kent. Includes all food, hours from 7:30-6:30.

Oct18mummy · 09/10/2019 18:23
