What is the going rate? I have been told £60 per day plus lunch fees is reasonable but I think it is on the high end. Plus lunch costs.

£71 a day here. Includes food and nappies. It’s just gone up from £60.

Sayhellotothethings · 09/10/2019 18:25

Hmm ok interesting insights, thank-you. I am going to see another nearby which is 45 per day Inc food so will see how they compare, surprised nurseries 10 mins apart can charge such different prices when neither have huge rental over heads!

When mine went to nursery, it was £52 including 3 meals and all nappies/wipes. The same place charges £20 per day for the holiday club, again all meals included but obviously nappies aren't required now.

Peccary · 09/10/2019 18:26

44 per day all in in North Derbyshire

smellybelly1 · 09/10/2019 18:28

My local nursery is £93, I didn't rate it so moved to a childminder who's £65 (London).

blackcat86 · 09/10/2019 18:33

It can really vary. I pay £4.80ph for 13 month old DD (so under £15 for a 3hr morning session with a free snack included) but my friend looked out the nursery down the road which was double the cost. I personally prefer the smaller nursery we've chosen and if its cheaper that's a bonus!

PurpleFlower1983 · 09/10/2019 18:36

ReginaPhalangeee · 09/10/2019 18:38

Sheld0r · 09/10/2019 18:52

tmh88 · 09/10/2019 19:01

£5ph round here includes food & wipes but not nappies.

myself2020 · 09/10/2019 19:01

If a nursery is a lot cheaper than all others in the area, i would be concerned how sustainable that is. most of the cheaper ones have closed around us, some kv

ClemDanFango · 09/10/2019 19:03

£50 a day all meals and snacks included but not nappies/wipes where I am SE London.

JustMe9 · 09/10/2019 19:04

We pay £740 a month (5 days a week 7.30am till 6pm) that includes all meals and snacks etc. So it works our less than £34 a day. Thats in West Yorkshire.

london2314 · 09/10/2019 19:06

Depends where you based. London zone 1 or 2 is £95-£120 per day, all meals, no nappies or wipes

riotlady · 09/10/2019 19:08

Ours is £880 a month, includes all meals but not nappies and wipes. Think that works out to about £40 a day? We’re in the NE

sonypony · 09/10/2019 19:09

Our nursery is £60 full day or £38 half day. Food and drinks included but not nappies, wipes or formula milk. Very jealous of JustMe9 Grinthose living in areas with much cheaper nurseries! We pay over £800/month for 5 half days.

Blueberrycheesecake1 · 09/10/2019 19:10

£95 and that was one of the cheaper ones 😱

Witchinaditch · 09/10/2019 19:12

£62 a day for us including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

regiftingthelot · 09/10/2019 19:12

When I was looking the more days you did the less it cost per day at the big chains. Half days were pointless, as so expensive compared to full days. The big one near me was £68 per day for 10 hour day.

My friends a childminder and gets £4.15 per hour for looking after a baby.

regiftingthelot · 09/10/2019 19:13

SE and included meals

C0c01823 · 09/10/2019 19:16
