To ask for the best twin names ever?

I have twin boys. I won't tell you their names but they are not related or themed. Think Dave and Tom rather than Jack and Daniel.

I do love hearing about twin names though and how different parents deal with it. Do you do obvious links, themes or just two completely different names?

Yes, they were born in the 80s - how could you tell? Grin

Lol at 'mere and 'mon 🤣😁

SinkGirl · 08/10/2019 19:13

My boys have pretty standard boys names, not themed, but the same first initial.

I wanted either Frasier and Niles or Albert and Frederick (if you’ve seen The Prestige) but DH vetoed them 😂

If they were girls we were joking about Thelma and Velma which would have almost rhymed with our surname (wouldn’t have actually done it though).

My local twin group contains a Ronnie and Reggie, and a Mia and Maya. It’s bad enough having the same first initial (I wouldn’t have done that deliberately TBH but these were the only two boys names we both liked after months of searching)

Mia and Mya
Felix and Spike

theWarOnPeace · 08/10/2019 19:28

Bunnylover I know them!! Unless there are more Bonnie and Clyde twins out there? Bonnie and Clyde also had weirdly matching middle names although can’t remember them now, something historical or mythical like Hera and Zeus or something. Apart from the bonkers names in and of themselves, why would you name your twins after lovers???
