My money's on the All Blacks but think there will be strong northern hemisphere repping in the final stages

New Zealand are looking very ordinary against South Africa at the moment! I would love Ireland to win, but think I will be disappointed.

I was going to say NZ but have just watched them fumble the ball 3 times in a row! They will prob still win though.

I would like England to win. Tbh though I'll be happy with the just getting out of the pool stages to help dim some of the shame of 2015.

DH has his lucky red pants on, along with his lucky Wales shirt. They're not even playing til Monday Confused I really hope he's not planning on just wearing them for the entire tournament!

The Men's Rugby World Cup? Couldn't care less who wins but just hoping to see it called the Men's Rugby World Cup and not THE Rugby World Cup because there is also a Women's one innit.

Calling it the World Cup is correct. World Rugby has moved away from using sex qualifiers in the title of the tournament. Which will be in evidence from the next World Cup in 2021.

In answer to the OP, probably New Zealand. South Africa, Australia, Ireland and England in the mix.

But JaquesHammer when things are labelled gender neutral, peoples default is to assume it relates to men/a man. Better to label sports Men and Women, helps prevent invisible women. So World Rugby has made a bad choice there.
