From back in Decemeber:

'This shouldn’t get lost in the avalanche of crazy. The wall we need is between DOJ and the White House. The foundation of our democracy- the rule of law- depends on it.' Sally Q. Yates.

Who on earth wants to kill Giuliani?

Specifically? Not sure. From the mob to far right, who knows? The same people who may or may not have ended Epstein? It's possible.

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/sep/27/nra-russia-foreign-asset-senate-report-investigation

'The National Rifle Association (NRA) has acted as a “foreign asset” in providing Russian officials access to US political organizations, according to an investigation by Senate Democrats.

The results of the investigation were published by the Oregon senator Ron Wyden on Friday. The report also alleges that the NRA may have broken tax laws by using donated funds to further its officers’ business interests.

Wyden and other Democrats on the Senate finance committee found that a delegation of NRA officials traveled to Moscow in December 2015.'

Lionheart, I think Trump found someone as self-aggrandising as he is himself when he hired Giuliani.

“Anything I did should be praised.”

Good lord, Asking, can you imagine what the conversation between them would be like? Someone will write a play or a film script about just that one day.

I know cozie. Isn't it extraordinary how many different strands there are ...?

Oh my. This is not good for Trump. This is a WaPo article, but in summary, he tells Moscow officials he is unconcerned about Russian meddling in US elections. The White House then took care to bury this conversation.

Just so we’re clear on how fucked up this all is:

  • Trump ADMITTED Russia interfered to help him in the election.
  • Instead of prosecuting (or punishing) Russia for this, he told them it was “fine.”
  • Then he illegally HID the record of the conversation on a SECRET SERVER.

'President Trump told two senior Russian officials in a 2017 Oval Office meeting that he was unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election because the United States did the same in other countries, an assertion that prompted alarmed White House officials to limit access to the remarks to an unusually small number of people, according to three former officials with knowledge of the matter.

The comments, which have not been previously reported, were part of a now-infamous meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, in which Trump revealed highly classified information that exposed a source of intelligence on the Islamic State. He also said during the meeting that firing FBI Director James B. Comey the previous day had relieved “great pressure” on him.'

Just to clarify what is going on here, the White House appears to be engaged in massive, systemic abuse of the classification system and underlying presidential authorities in order to cover up egregious wrongdoing including impeachable conduct.

This is a historic scandal.

More NRA - this time, funding Trump’s impeachment in return for Trump protecting gun laws.

Trump fired the FBI director overseeing the investigation of Russian election interference & then the very next day told Russia it was all good. That his presidency continued for more than two years after that is a profound failure of our system.

Some hope that an impeachment process will bring things to light that will prevent Ivanka ever running? I still worry about her being the first female president.
