From back in Decemeber:

'This shouldn’t get lost in the avalanche of crazy. The wall we need is between DOJ and the White House. The foundation of our democracy- the rule of law- depends on it.' Sally Q. Yates.

Thread unrolled from twitter....Obviously this is to line tRump's pockets, no checks done

G7 Security Anyone? @Fahrenthold point here that the mayor of Doral wasn't notified is more proof (do we need it?) that there was no real search for a locale. If the mayor wasn't contacted, neither was the police chief. No serious security review was done.

cosie, you need [[ at start as well as end of the URL for it to link properly to Youtube. Mind you I've been able to watch the clips from within the MN page, so it sort of works.

Stephanie Grisham, alleged Press Secretary for the White House (remember her?), has a bit of a rant about the standards of journalism. Given that she has never held a press conference - part of the core responsibilities of her position - I don’t take this tweet seriously. I’ve posted one reply to the tweet underneath to show the general standard of MAGA thought level.

Stephanie Grisham @PressSec
America needs real journalism.

Real journalists don't have an agenda. They gather and present the news in an unbiased manner. They report the facts—and let the citizens decide.

But audio of @CNN meetings, captured by @Project_Veritas, expose a very real agenda.

@CNN and @Project_Veritas
America does have real journalism. It's found every day in people like
@ @HowleyReporter
, @@PamelaGeller
, and @SaraCarterDC
. It's found on sites like @ @bigleaguepol
, and @epochtimes

It can't be censored, and we won't be stopped.

I love what Nancy pelosi has done to her Twitter account, trump tweeted out that photo of her pointing at him and she powned him by using it as a banner 🤩

lionheart · 19/10/2019 11:17

I'd forgotten about Grisham.

And how to keep Trump in power:

Whether it's true or not (about Gabbard) the Dems need to stop the infighting. It's destructive and self-defeating. We need 'unified and civil debate' to allow us to make up our own minds about the issues that are important to us, the voters.

I like Hillary, but at this point I think she needs to button it. Unless her 'female candidate/Russian favourite' is front-runner Elizabeth Warren then it's a bit of a non-issue for now.

AcrossthePond55 · 19/10/2019 15:44

I just saw a news flash that Parliament voted 'no' on BoJo's latest plan for Brexit.

Does this mean that a 'no deal exit' is a cert?

Roussette · 19/10/2019 15:53

Across it's not a 'no' for the deal. It's a vote to force Boris to apply for an extension so it can't vote for the deal until the legislation has passed through parliament (322 to 306 so tight...)

Thank the lord. This is a safety net for now.

The only trouble is BoJo is not happy and is being forced to write to the EU by 11pm tonight to request a delay, (but rumour has it, he wants to follow that letter up with his own letter telling the EU to ignore the first letter...)
You could not make it up

cozietoesie · 19/10/2019 16:14

I doubt it's a non-issue, Across.

cozietoesie · 19/10/2019 17:00

Timing is all. March or April would be my guess.

Subject to any info from Across or others on timing.

cozietoesie · 19/10/2019 20:29

Ie - when do you have to declare the full ticket?
