Even the White House tweeted this rubbish out. I’d expect Trump to tweet it, his Press Secretary, or one of his sycophants, but not the White House. They also call the impeachment inquiry “unconstitutional”. As I noted yesterday, it is the exact opposite of unconstitutional. This seems to be one of the GOP’s primary arguments, but it fails at the first step.

So far, the House has fallen far short by failing to follow the same basic procedures that it has followed for every other President in our history.

Hoolajerry I know, it’s maddening. But it does feel closer now than at any time since he was elected. There have been moments when we’ve thought, ‘This is it - surely he can’t survive this scandal,’ but he did. This time does have a different finality to it though.
