Heads up. The Justice Dept. has declared it is now working with the Trump admin - the ‘secret’ meeting they had today was apropos to that - I’m thinking it something to do with the below. Searching the phrase ‘Operation Crossfire Hurricane’ brings up interesting results. I believe Obama/Comey/Brennan et al. were working within the law, but you can be sure it won’t be spun that way by Conservatives.

Why would it be impeachable? Wasn’t it done to him? I think Barr is getting to the bottom of it and that’s why the Dems are doing everything possible to stop him and make noise. Operation crossfire hurricane is gonna be a doozy.

I can't help wondering about a head of state who has a visiting head of state beside him on a platform at a press conference and uses the occasion to embark on a rant about his country's domestic affairs rather than anything to do with the other head of state.

I think it was the sort of thing Idi Amin used to do, but is it normal? It seems horrendously rude.

If someone can find a non -paywalled report on the press conference, I'd be grateful.

George Conway, husband to Trump’s adviser Kellyanne Conway and a persistent thorn in the president’s side, has resumed his criticism of the president in an article for the Atlantic.

Conway, an attorney, has been asking questions about Trump’s mental state throughout Trump’s presidency.

Now, Conway reckons, there has been “a recent escalation in Trump’s bizarre behavior, as the pressures of his upcoming reelection campaign, a possibly deteriorating economy, and now a full-blown impeachment inquiry have mounted”.

You don’t need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, and you don’t need to be a mental-health professional to see that something’s very seriously off with Trump—particularly after nearly three years of watching his erratic and abnormal behavior in the White House.
