to think that some people on mn come across as really agressive, nasty and mean

Not been on mn very long and have not seen all the previous posts that have gone on - but i think we should be allowed to express our views on subjects (that may already have been covered) without people swearing and making snide remarks about other posters. It just makes me feel a bit reluctant to post anything else and I can't believe I am the only one to feel like this.

No, that would be elves, Rhubarb.

Yes, poor Rhu. 'Rhubarb is SO rude! It's because she's from Oldham'.

Rhubarb · 09/08/2007 20:07

Feck orf! I never wanted to post on yer miserable little thread anyhows!

I shall now fart my presence amongst you and leave with dignity!

Rhubarb · 09/08/2007 20:07

expatinscotland · 09/08/2007 20:08

That was custy, Rhubarb! That was her thread.

kookaburra · 09/08/2007 20:08

Most people are helpful when you need help. There are cliques and bitches, but why bother with them??? Most of us are lovely

Rhubarb · 09/08/2007 20:08

Bloody link me!

CatIsSleepy · 09/08/2007 20:09

LOL at rhubarb's thread confusion...

come away now dear

Rhubarb · 09/08/2007 20:12

This thread was next to the other one when I clicked. But now I've learnt that custy has been bitching me behind me very back!

I is getting me a new best friend!

LittleBellatrixLeBoot · 09/08/2007 20:19

Oh I've just forgotten, what a hypocrite I am

I went on that child-free site the other day and immediately within 3 minutes decided they were a bunch of mentally ill, emotionally stunted wankers.

On that basis, no YANBU to make snap judgements.

I would have said yes once, but now I would say you are not being unreasonable. In fact I would agree with you.

JeremyVile · 09/08/2007 22:32

If the general consensus is (as seems to be) that MN is just like any other society in that you get all sorts - good and bad....
Then dont we also have to accept that any one of us, as in the rest of society, has the right to state what they dont like about it?
Just as some think that the OP should 'get over it', i happen to think that those people should also 'get over it'.
