I had a work friend whose boyfriend was into renactments he would dress up as an elf and prance around the forest all weekend. I really tried not to judge but know personally that would have killed any sexual feeling on my part stone dead. At least with cycling they get in shape. Dh looks like a Greek god now.

I have a MAML. But I don't mind at all, since I, too, have a Greek God who gets the fuck out of my house so I can do all kinds of bad things.

This possibly is outing but Ex DPs hobby is mens suits. He collects ties (has over 250) and cufflinks and spends a lot of time coordinating ties & cufflinks with his shirts, suits and shoes. He spends hours every week deciding, deciding and organising.

His instagram is deeply dull and features lots of torsos in shirts and ties but with no heads. Like a modern take on the French Revolution or Henry VIII.

Tinkering with his classic Italian sports car. He's actually become quite a good amateur mechanic and I love whizzing through the lanes in it watching the heads turn. We put it on the ferry and he drove us to Turin and back. Can't complain!

My husband's hobby is far less adventurous these days, he follows the markets and dabbles. In the past he had a skydiving licence. He witnessed a very high profile army officer's son have a horrific accident right in front of him and still jumped right after. Thankfully he's given it up... for now.

And yes why complain they are out of the house? Maybe when your kids tiny. But dh being out of the house abit fine by me lovely as he is.
