To Really Hate This Word.

There's lots of words I quite dislike,
That really make me cringe...
"Panties" and "gusset" are right up there
And so, of course, is "minge".

Children aren't kids, that's baby goats,
And I don't really call DH "hubs"...
I call both my children by their proper names
(I also hate "bae", "boo" or "bubs").

You've now seen my most disliked words,
So now I hate to foist
On you, the worst one of them ALL...
It can only be bloody "moist"!!!

😀

Just a little rhyme to cheer you all up on a Tuesday afternoon :)

Moist amuses me and clunge is an occasional favourite.

MashedSpud · 20/08/2019 16:58

I hate when people say axed instead of ask.

AmateurSwami · 20/08/2019 17:01

The ones I hate, and I totally blame MN, are:

Hobbies

“Dh and I have separate hobbies, I won’t mention them as they’re very outing” 😂😂😂 when you just know they’re football and swimming. Grin

Crochetymum · 20/08/2019 17:02

Tummy instead of stomach and I gag at this one 🤮🤮 - phlegm.
I can actually have a heaving fit if my partner says it to me! I hate it so much, and he says it on purpose sometimes to set me off🤢

Crochetymum · 20/08/2019 17:06

Oh I've got another one too, calling little girls Princess. Don't know why but I find it sickly. Mine is alot of things but not a Princess.

Duchessgummybuns · 20/08/2019 17:09

I feel like I can taste the word phlegm. Salty.

tuberr0se · 20/08/2019 17:15

especially when used with crying laughing on a tilt emoji

Crochetymum · 20/08/2019 17:16

Cheers Duchess, that's what I meant. I shouldn't have even typed it out, it'll be on my mind all night now.
Personal favourite of mine though is bollocks, just because it's so sweary 😁

MellowBird85 · 20/08/2019 17:20

Nom nom - Conjures up visions of unemployed slobs with a low IQ.

Also, not really a word but a phrase, it irritates me when I see Americans write “I could care less”. What?! That doesn’t even make sense. It’s couldn’t care less!

Buttons4me · 20/08/2019 17:23

Naice - only heard of it on here makes me want to scream with annoyance.

iklboo · 20/08/2019 17:26

Naice comes from a found shopping list years ago.

DerbyMumOf1 · 20/08/2019 17:27

Just NO

MamaFlintstone · 20/08/2019 17:32

Pelmet. I don’t know why, it just makes me feel uncomfortable and I dislike it immensely. Thankfully not one I come across often!

UrsulaPandress · 20/08/2019 17:33

Knew it would be moist as soon as I saw the title.

Alpacathebag · 20/08/2019 17:39

I really hate that your post is a rhyming poem.
