So I posted a thread on height and weight the other day and the most interesting finding was that weights look totally different on different people (even if same height).

So if you want to, please post your height, weight and stats. I just find these threads fascinating!

I’m 5ft 4, 8 stone 7lb and bust 33, waist 26.5, hips 35

Dress size 8-10 (sometimes M&S 6s)

Mymygivemeafry · 21/08/2019 19:44

@ReturnofSaturn we practically have the same weight, height and measurements- twinning 😬!

Can I ask what size you ‘feel’? Do you feel slim/thin/wobbly/toned etc.?

33-26-40 5'5" 9st 8 I'm really struggling with finding clothes to fit at the moment, I always had a big bum in comparison to my waist but since having DD it's ridiculous.

HalfBearOtherHalfCat · 21/08/2019 20:36

I'm 5ft 7 and 14 stone. 44 bust, 28 waist, 46 hips.

I live in baggy t-shirts and drawstring waist 16/18s because I'm such a stupid shape. The only time I have things which actually fit is if I make them myself. I have a four year old and a business to run though, so that pretty much never happens.

HomeEdRocks18 · 21/08/2019 21:18

I'm 5ft 8.bust 34, waist and hips no idea. Not a clue what my weight is either as I won't have weighing scales in the house (I used to be anorexic as a teenager).
Its taken me a long time to love my body. If my clothes no longer fit I buy a bigger size!

Mymygivemeafry · 21/08/2019 21:57

@HalfBearOtherHalfCat what wonderful proportions! Very jealous of your hourglass figure 😍

elderwand90 · 21/08/2019 22:18

Height - 5'5
Weight - 10st
Bust - 42
Waist - 32
Hips - 40
Size 10

TapasForTwo · 21/08/2019 22:26

I must admit that I'm struggling to understand how you are a size 10 with those measurements elderwand90.

My hips are 1" smaller than yours and there is no way I can get any size 10 pair of trousers or jeans past them. And surely a 42" bust is not a size 10? I wear a 10 top with a 34" bust.

elderwand90 · 21/08/2019 22:30

Under bust is 32 and size 10 jeans always fit usually from next or primark.

@Mymygivemeafry

I feel slim. What about you?
Obviously I would love to be more toned and athletic looking but just don't have the time and willpower for that kind of dedication.

Mymygivemeafry · 21/08/2019 22:38

@TapasForTwo- it may be where @elderwand90 shops? In M&S, Sainsbury’s, Hobbs, Next, Whistles etc. I find the sizing more generous (I think as broadly speaking their market isn’t teen girls)!

Mymygivemeafry · 21/08/2019 22:39

@ReturnofSaturn I feel the same as you really- slim but wish I had less on wobble! On bad days I feel fat and have to remind myself that it’s a tone issue and I’m doing ok in the scheme of things 🙂

No idea what I weigh!
Size 12/14

Harvest me. What would it even be useful for?

5'4, 10st3, size 12-14, 32H-ish, 41-32-38

Saggy and middle aged.

PickAChew · 21/08/2019 23:04

Doesn't matter where I measure my hips. Since having kids, I no longer have any. I also seem to have lost all my abdominal muscles.

Belts are my friend.

PickAChew · 21/08/2019 23:09

I was 7 stone at 15 and a 1980s size 10. I got picked on for being skinny and bobble headed. It was barely a healthy weight for me, then (at 5'5, before i shrank)

PickAChew · 21/08/2019 23:14

@elderwand90 you're similar dimensions to me - slightly bigger in fact, and I have nothing in a 10 that fits, even from Next. Sometimes things are loose in the hip, but if I can't fasten the waist, or it's tight around the middle and rides up, then that size is no good for me.

And it's rare that anything less than a 14 fits across my bust, unless it's cut loose. I've given up on some brands because only a 16 will fit my (big but hardly enormous) bust without straining, yet they're so obviously cut for bigger women that the neckline is too gapey.

Mymygivemeafry · 21/08/2019 23:14

You don’t sound saggy- you’re measurements sound like you have a great waist and hourglass 🙂
