To ask what your bust, waist and hip measurements are

So I posted a thread on height and weight the other day and the most interesting finding was that weights look totally different on different people (even if same height).

So if you want to, please post your height, weight and stats. I just find these threads fascinating!

I’m 5ft 4, 8 stone 7lb and bust 33, waist 26.5, hips 35

Dress size 8-10 (sometimes M&S 6s)

Bust 34, waist 25.5, hips 33

5 ft 5, 8 st 4

5'7 and 11.7st, size 12 bottom 14 on top.
41-32-32 as u can see i carry all my weight up top 🙈🙈

5'5" I weigh 9 stone 7.

Chest 35" waist 27" hips 38".

5ft 4. 9st 4. 35 -30-35. Always wanted a small waist. But never had one

5ft 3 and 10 stone. Usually wear a 12 on top and 10-12 on the bottom. Struggle to find dresses to suit my shape though.

Bust 42" waist 29" hips 33" but I have got a sticky out bum rather than hips
Usually wear a size 12 but sometimes a 10.

Of course people of similar weight and height will look different, even if they have the same basic body shape. You could be 10 stone and solid muscle, veering on the lowest body fat possible before being unhealthy and a size 6-8, then give up the exercise, lose the muscle and gain fat and several dress sizes but still only be stone heavier.

Envious at some of the slim hipped posters on here.

Where are you measuring your hips? I measure at the widest part which is where my knicker line is at the top of my legs, not over my hip bones.

I’m 5’7”, weigh 9st 7lbs and am 38 bust, 26 waist, 36 hip. I take size 10 clothes generally.

This is exactly why im on a serious "Get-my-shit-together" diet before i turn 30 in October.

I'm 5ft 8 weigh around 12 and a half stone... measurements are bust 38- waist- 34...and hips 42.

Size 12/14 more likely a 14..trying to lose weight.

@TapasForTwo I never know where to measure hips either! Like do I go over my bottom? Or is it above bottom?!

Whereabouts do you measure your waist? I did once know this years ago but can't remember.

And actually for hips - do you measure kind of straight around where the hip bone is prominent, or is it a bit lower around to take in the most round bit of arse?

Because surely in order to be useful for knowing say trousers size, you need to account for the buttock proportion?

I've always measured waist at the narrowest part, where you bend if bending side to side and hips at the widest part.

i dont have a tape measure so cant say inches but im 6ft(35 inch leg), 16st.6,bust 46J cup(sometimes K)

im a 20 in trousers but buy 18-20 knickers

i need a 28 top becuase of boob size but waist and arms are always to large so i usually buy XXXL mens as i find them more comfortable than womens tops which i also find to short in the body

gosh though some of you woman are smaller than my (just)9 y old though hes 5ft 3 and 125 pounds

Measurements from what I remember are 40-37-42. I'm not at all happy at this size, I actually carry most of my weight on my stomach so whilst my measurements aren't shocking, around my stomach is not a number I like to think about!

Oh and i weigh about 10st 10

I always measure at biggest-smallest-biggest points. I don't understand making it more complicated than that.
38-28 ?29 -37 typically.

I'm 11 stone 11, bust 39" waist 31" hips 43" thighs 23"

I'm a size 12 top, 14 bottom.

If I put my measurements into dress calculators it comes up with various sizes for me but the weirdest is Topshop where I'm a size 18.

Nothing wrong with that but I wear Topshop clothes and I'm definitely a 12 on top, 14 on the bottom.
