Don't come to the pub and ruin it for all the other patrons

Two children behaving beautifully (or as lovely as toddlers can be) one clearly just being a brat

Spot on.

Posters 16 (hasn't seen the multiple memos about badly behaved children and ineffective parenting)- I can't believe how mean some posters are. it must be hard work being so perfect and never having an unsettled child.
Poster 17- parents can't win can they. People hate noise and they hate tablets.
Poster 18 - actually we just think tablets should have headphones in so the rest of us don't have to listen to Peppa pig.
Poster 19 - I know right 17! I love how snobby people are about tablets in public. They love being superior.
Poster 20-25 - We just think excessive noise is a problem and that includes playing tablets without headphones.put headphones in and everyone is happy
Poster17 and 19- passive aggressively PT each other on the back and eye roll at how men everyone else is. if they hate tablets noise then don't leave the house

"I don't know where all these pubs are where someone's dining experience has been ruined by a child, I can't think of a single occasion that it has happened to us."
@Floribunda18
Do you not go out much? Every weekend without fail, no matter what pub we lunch in, there are always some children behaving badly. They are often very noisy, running around chasing each other, playing with cars which end up under other tables and arguing about what they will eat. In carveries their parents bawl at them for not having mash or veg on their plates. My nephew used to be the same and I never looked forward to being out with my DSis because of it.

I think the parents don't notice because they are so used to them running round and making noise in their own homes.

It's such a pleasure when I see little ones behaving nicely and engaging without shouting (but they are in the minority).

Currently in a lovely pub in London that says it welcomes families until 10pm

Not a brat in sight and ds(9) is enjoying a drink watching footy 😊
