Hi ladies,

So ive been dating a guy for a while now (8 months) we get on amazing, he lives 100 miles away from me so makes dating hard, but I'm 100% committed to him and he says he is with me. However;
We were talking tonight via text about him going out with his friend and I get a text saying " I don't understand why you're counting with us 🤦🏻‍♂️♥️ Xxxxxx"

He then proceeded to (in my own opinion) panic and text me straight away saying the text was for his sister, he then called me 7 times, text me 3 times and messaged me on Instagram within 5 mins ( I was in the shower at the time this happened)

I would've thought the text was strange but laughed it off because I had no reason to mistrust him, however his response to this had put me on edge, am I right to have this feeling??? What would you do??

Well done OP. Just out of interest do you know any of his friends and are you friends with him or them on social media? Wondering if he might try and get through to you some other way.

He was obviously trying to flirt with some poor woman going on the stock count with him. Clearly most people don’t send hearts and that many kisses to their siblings.

At least wait to see what he has to say. Maybe he was just trying to contact you coz he was worried you would think he was up to something (when he wasn't.)

I don't like to speak for anyone else but I'd say we did think for a second then based upon his ridiculous panicked reaction and utter bullshit excuse that he deletes all texts decided no chance.

He earned that ghosting.

I read the "counting with us" as either counting down to a wedding or counting down to a birth.

If he was really genuine he could get a screenshot from his sister to send to you thats assuming she doesnt delete all messages immediatly which ithink you will find she probably does.

I think the heart and face palm emojis say more than the text.... so if he’s asking why “she” is counting dates/encounters that’ll explain the face palm - I would never send a heart to my brothers I only send them to my DH or about my DS - kisses yes, but heart emoji, no not buying it.
