Hi ladies,

So ive been dating a guy for a while now (8 months) we get on amazing, he lives 100 miles away from me so makes dating hard, but I'm 100% committed to him and he says he is with me. However;
We were talking tonight via text about him going out with his friend and I get a text saying " I don't understand why you're counting with us 🤦🏻‍♂️♥️ Xxxxxx"

He then proceeded to (in my own opinion) panic and text me straight away saying the text was for his sister, he then called me 7 times, text me 3 times and messaged me on Instagram within 5 mins ( I was in the shower at the time this happened)

I would've thought the text was strange but laughed it off because I had no reason to mistrust him, however his response to this had put me on edge, am I right to have this feeling??? What would you do??

It doesn’t matter what the text says. It’s the heart, kisses and panicked response that give it away.

I know how stupid but sounds... I just needed to write it down and ask other people because I was going crazy thinking it was me. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers and they are lucky if they get one x on a message.

I just needed people to tell me to shake my head and move on... Thanks ladies

Well he could prove this quite easily by sending you a screenshot of their conversation... but I’ll bet he won’t.

It’s as if the other woman has counted something they’ve done and referring to it. He’s then saying he doesn’t understand why she’s counting with ‘us’ as if their relationship doesn’t need to keep count of anything. That’s how I read it.

I'd want to see the context of this made up conversation with his sister. If he refuses I'd walk away.

I have no idea what the message means or why, but the fact he's so obviously lying and so ridiculous means you will probably never know. But it is more than enough to see me walk.

Oh god that is awful. If he'd just texted you after saying "sorry, wrong person" it would have been ropey enough but that alongside the terrified 57 phone calls smells like bullshit of the highest order.

A screenshot of the conversation with his sister should clear it all up.

Don't think I've been fooled by his response or anything! I just really needed to air this out because, I've never heard so much crap in my life, you know when you hear something that's so unbelievable, you have to check if it's really real or not 😂
