A jigsaw accompanied by a really engrossing audiobook or a long podcast, is one of life's great joys. Ideally on a wet Saturday afternoon when there's nobody else home.

I've never ever done a jigsaw. I think I'm going to buy myself one at Christmas!

Oh god! DPs parents got us into jigsaws. But they do those wasgij ones where the picture on the box is 5 minutes before the image you're building, or you have to picture what the box would look like 20 years in the future. They're ridiculous! But hours of entertainment.

Jigsaws have been a secret vice of mine for many years.

It's a secret vice because I've always felt it's a bit 'sad' that I like to sit on my own and do jigsaws, also it's always felt a bit old womanish. And now I am actually an old woman it some how makes it feel even sadder.

It's very cheering to know that all you young things are out out there doing your own jigsaws.

My family got together last year and did a jigsaw together! Took us a few days but the end result was worth it!

It is a 1,000 of Polerro harbour in Cornwall - I used to live near there years ago. My bloody husband is a jigsaw wizard and came home and joined in bastard..

We jigsaw in our caravan, DD2 (15) loves them too. Popular round here though as the local charity shop has a sign in the window asking for jigsaws! A jigsaw shortage in north Wales. Rainy day tomorrow so hoping to get it finished (...umm maybe the 2 things are connected!!)

This is so funny! I'm 46, and I just said to my husband the other day that we should start doing jigsaw puzzles because we both really enjoy them. I ordered a couple today!

I've met my people!

I went into five charity shops before I found a jigsaw! It took me an hour to do the top and then my husband did the corner in about two minutes...he is sleeping so I may kill him...

Meant to say Polperro in Cornwall and will post a pic when on my phone. Can anyone tell I am on holiday with difficult child.....

Where do you keep them when you’re not working on them? Do you have a dedicated jigsawing spot?

I run a local jigsaw exchange that is member based. We don't have a huge number of members but the age break down of our members is:
50% - Over 60
10% - Under 30
25% - 30 - 40
15% - 40 - 60
Everyone should do jigsaws. Great for your mind, relaxation and more.
