Correctly addressed to our house. Inside just the brief note, and two feathers. I'm pretty sure it's not meant for anyone here, no return address, very curious about its meaning though.

That seems like it’s supposed to be threatening to the intended recipient- the sender wanted to give them white feathers for cowardice. One for recipient and one for Katrina (Makes waves Katrina or Katrina on cleaning?). Not very nice but probably not for you OP if it makes no sense. How odd.

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 03/08/2019 18:28

I read it as

"Not the white feathers used in WW1 but thinking about it, if they spent more time pleasuring themselves they might have been slightly less bloodshed.

Sorry it's better both for you or one for you and one for Katrina moves waves or Katrina on Cleaning?"

I would have thought that they're pissed off and calling the recipient a coward. Fuck knows what Katrina's got to do with it.

MereDintofPandiculation · 03/08/2019 18:28

I don't think it's meant to be threatening, else they wouldn't have signed off with XX. Just a note which has gone to the wrong address, and will make sense only to the sender and possibly the intended recipient.

Knitclubchatter · 03/08/2019 18:28

Second paragraph;
Any it’s either both for you or
One for you & one for KMW or KOC

Sounds like this person suspects someone is cheating with someone who’s first name is Katrina

malmi · 03/08/2019 18:33

Trying to make out the second part.

"Sry it's either both for you or one for you + one for KMW (Katrina Mae's/minus Waves) or KOC ( Katrina on cleaning?)"

ManderlyAgain · 03/08/2019 18:35

I read second para as
‘Ay it’s either both for you or are for you & are for KMW ( Katrina makes waves) or KOC (Katrina on cleaning)’

MerdedeBrexit · 03/08/2019 18:37

WWI and WWII are how the two World Wars are referred to, with the "I"s being the Roman numerals for 1 and 2.

IsobelRae23 · 03/08/2019 18:38

If someone had spent more time at home and not looking away from home, then there would be less heartache.

Someone is saying someone is cheating, and is apologies to both of you for making trouble- making/causing waves.

StrongTea · 03/08/2019 18:38

Bit creepy.

DieCryHate · 03/08/2019 18:38

I think they've done a play on words with carry on cleaning, possibly a suggestion of smut around this Katrina person. I think it's a tad sinister.

FadedRed · 03/08/2019 18:42

Has you cat got into their aviary?

ManderlyAgain · 03/08/2019 18:42

Meant sorry not ay, ffs.

Kinkybutkind · 03/08/2019 18:42

I think it’s uber creepy!

Wonder if they’ve been spying on one of the neighbours who was cleaning naked whilst blasting out Katrina and the Waves and is in a roundabout way suggesting that said neighbour could be very brave (ie: not cowardly as indicated in the war ) and please themselves with the feathers, for the viewers pleasure ?

NeverOwnAHouse · 03/08/2019 18:44

Do you have a cleaner OP? Does the sender think someone’s having an affair with the cleaner? Super creepy!

RumpoleoftheBaileys · 03/08/2019 18:45

It's accusing the indended recipient (so an occupant of your home) of having an affair with someone called Katrina.

Saucery · 03/08/2019 18:45

“Carry On Cleaning” ?

pinkstar01 · 03/08/2019 18:45

Could be an old neighbour suffering from dementia maybe?

RumpoleoftheBaileys · 03/08/2019 18:46

Or letting them know that Katrina is being unfaithful. If no-one in the house is called that, former makes more sense.

Tingface · 03/08/2019 18:48

Feather wankers.

MorgueDweller · 03/08/2019 18:50

Don't understand what the Katrina on cleaning means at all.

Do you have a dp, might he know a Katrina?

FurnitureAndBackgammon · 03/08/2019 18:50

Pretty sure an older person wouldn't start a letter with 'Hi ya'

LaMarschallin · 03/08/2019 18:50

Pleasuring yourself with a feather isn't kinky, it's erotic.

Using the whole chicken - that's kinky.

And probably renders it unsuitable for using for three days' worth of meals for six.

CCC1 · 03/08/2019 18:52

Is it referring to hurricane Katrina?

I read it as an affair, with bloodshed, cowardice and stormy waters. Am intrigued by Katrina’s cleaning though - maybe she’s a Mrs Hinch fan.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 03/08/2019 18:52

Yeah I think the “more time pleasuring themselves there’d be less bloodshed” if reference to two people having shenanigans instead of sorting themselves out.

Pieceofpurplesky · 03/08/2019 18:52

Interesting ..,
