Well maybe not annoyed but a bit baffled.
We've been friends for 20 years.
We text every day and chat on the phone 3x a week sometimes more.
It was her birthday yesterday and we were meeting for lunch,as a extra surprise I sent her a bouquet of flowers.
The company rang and said they couldn't be delivered as the person no longer lived there.
I called my friend and she said "oh yeah we've moved,2 months ago,I never had the time to tell you"
???? We speak every day.
She had been renting but has bought this house.
How do you not tell your friend you've bought a house?
I just find it odd.
She was looking at houses a few months ago and said it was just for fun and they weren't in a position to buy etc
So she's gone through the whole process of putting offers in etc etc
Not saying a word.
We used to tell each other everything

My mother sold her house, moved out.... Without telling me. I only found out when I tried to phone her and her phone had been cut off! So I contacted my brother, worried sick to be told " oh she doesn't live there any more! "

When I eventually got hold of her to speak to (on someone else's mobile, I had no credit coz I was skint) she said "oh I just assumed someone would tell you " which, when I eventually told her it was very hurtful, she changed to "oh I must have texted your old mobile by mistake"

strange that, as my old number was still working well and was checked daily in case I'd forgotten to tell any one that I was changing number.... And there was no text. I didn't bother telling her that because I saw no point in hearing another lie as an excuse.

Basically, some people are just crap sometimes. And now you know she's one off them.

And don't bother telling her anything again.
