This is there top story. Meghan is using a cheap shawl & DM have found the factory it was made in.

She’s been criticised non stop for her spending, uses something cheap and the DM visit the sweatshop it was made in! I’m sorry but we are all guilty of this, very few people I’m sure track down where everything they buy is made and how much the staff are paid.

It’s just getting ridiculous how they’ll find literally anything to criticise.

If the DM want to expose sweat shops (something they care little about usually) they have the resources and man power to do so but they don’t give a shit they just want to go after Meghan.

There wasn't an exclusion zone at Wimbledon @MauritiusNext, she was sitting in the members box. Your average ticket holder couldn't have sat there anyway.

heath48 · 31/07/2019 16:16

Well, just come on,not read a single post and will not be back to argue.

I cannot stand the sight of Meghan Markle, the controversy that surrounds her is all of her own making,She loves attention, good or bad.

SamanthaBrique · 31/07/2019 16:18

Cheers for that Piers @heath48, always good to get an intelligent contribution to the discussion Hmm

julensaor · 31/07/2019 16:21

Vogue is prestigious to some people and a rag to others. That is the fact. Your comment is inane and really does not make sense in the context of what is being discussed. As is the rambling on in defence of the magazine.

SamanthaBrique · 31/07/2019 16:27

Oh dear...

Madfrogs · 31/07/2019 16:35

I’m more miffed with Harry’s I’m better than you two children save the world yet I fly in private jets crap interview.

I think they could be a lovely celeb couple in America.

You and me both

I can just about stand the RF's excessive self indulgence, since a president would no doubt behave the same way (though at least we could choose who that would be). But please don't expect to prate at us while behaving hypocritically AND expect deference at the same time

Not for the first time, I just wish we could get rid of the whole darned lot of them

LaurieMarlow · 31/07/2019 16:51

I prefer royals like Andrew tbh, he's over privileged and a baffoon but doesnt try to be anything else

The fact that anyone would ever say this just blows my mind entirely.

The man is a total arse with no redeeming features whatsoever.

And we’d be expected to curtsey to the fucker. That’s as good an argument to get rid of the monarchy as I’ve ever heard.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 31/07/2019 16:54

Just stop reading The Daily Mail.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 31/07/2019 16:57

Quite so, Laurie

Though I'm looking forward to hearing what gets said at Epstein's trial ...

SingingLily · 31/07/2019 17:02

*I’m more miffed with Harry’s I’m better than you two children save the world yet I fly in private jets crap interview

You and me both*

So no more squandering of taxpayers' money on a private jet to fetch Prince Harry back from the Arctic Circle for dinner with Meghan on St Valentine's Day? And no more jetting over to New York for a baby shower for Meghan?

As a taxpayer, I would be delighted but I'm too busy not holding my breath.

I think Granny needs to have a word.

BertrandRussell · 31/07/2019 17:10

Are people saying that nobody is allowed to express an opinion on environmental matters unless they have a completely clear carbon footprint? That having a trip in a friend’s private jet disallows you from ever commenting on environmental concerns ever again?

And I would put money on many people on here never having heard of Jamila Jamil before they grabbed her as a useful stick to beat MM with!

BertrandRussell · 31/07/2019 17:12

“I prefer royals like Andrew tbh, he's over privileged and a baffoon but doesnt try to be anything else“

Yes he does. He travels the world “promoting British business.”

GlitchStitch · 31/07/2019 17:16

Of course they can comment on environmental issues but maybe stop being so preachy about it. There is a whiff of do as I say, not as I do. And maybe not posting on Instagram about it the same week it's announced that the RF's carbon footprint has doubled.

Madfrogs · 31/07/2019 17:22

Of course one can pass comment but it’s the way in which he does it.

It comes across very much a I am better than you love me and listen to me do as I say and not as I do.

As I said I’m sure the pair of them could be a wonderful celeb couple in America but they or him more so are just rubbing me up the wrong way.

I like queenie she supports things but keeps her mouth shut rather than telling us all how to live our life’s and preaching to the poor from a pedestal of wealth rubbing our noses in it.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 31/07/2019 17:26

Not necessarily, Bertrand; as you say, few of us are squeaky clean environmentally - though some of us don't go on about the subject either

But lecturing others about it and being a massive polluter and expecting automatic deference and enjoying a total lack of accountability at the same time is perhaps a bit unwise

As I said, like father like son

GlitchStitch · 31/07/2019 17:35

This is the sort of thing where they are doing themselves no favours, they are handing their critics ammunition. Why would they think it was a good idea to go on Instagram a few days after its revealed that the RF carbon footprint has increased 98% in a year, to tell their followers they need to do their bit for the environment and reduce their carbon footprint? Where are their PR advisors?

I didn't know about Jameela Jamil's previous comments, her treatment of Janice Turner and rants about 'transphobic cis women' daring to raise safeguarding concerns was bad enough for me.

BertrandRussell · 31/07/2019 17:44

“they would have seen she hasn't done anything to be proud of, only insult people.”

Are you aware of the work she’s doing around anorexia and body image?

BertrandRussell · 31/07/2019 17:47

I don’t like everything she says, obviously. But then I don’t think there is anyone I do. I find Laverne Cox a more problematic figure, personally.

SamanthaBrique · 31/07/2019 18:14

Yeah I was a bit Hmm to see Cox included but there are several other women on the list who do good work - Greta Thunberg, Christy Turlington, Jacinda Ardern etc.

I just wonder why the minor royal and his wife are getting so much attention....

Do enlighten us, you don't sound racist at all.
