Can't be be done for Section 5 offences? Does he not work? He seems to be there on a permanent. Free speech is all very well, but it's driving me mad!

I admire his industry

DullPortraits · 25/07/2019 18:49

You all on about steve? He is exercising his right to freedom of speech and fair play to him! Love the banter him and piers morgan have on good morning britain Grin

longwayoff · 25/07/2019 18:50

Dad's Army theme please.

DullPortraits · 25/07/2019 18:51

@LIZS

Glockenspiel is more annoying! Apparently he takes requests.

Absolutely!!

RodGallowglass · 25/07/2019 18:55

If he managed to get UK news editors to drop the wanky habit of having reporters and interviewers "on location" when the report/interview could just as well have been done in the studio he will have performed a genuine public service!

RodGallowglass · 25/07/2019 18:56

Shit my grammar was all over the shop there - it's the heat!

averylongtimeago · 25/07/2019 19:08

It will be a sad day when a protester is forbidden from exercising their democratic rights.
But we are heading that way-

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:12

He is interfering with my democratic rights. He's so irritating and i cant hear what the politicians are saying.

twofingerstoEverything · 25/07/2019 19:13

Hiarious how everyone is getting their knickers in a twist about Steven Bray. If you want something bonkers and extremists, read user's post above, where s/he compares him with Hitler et al. That's real madness.
SB is exercising his right to protest in a very open way. When some Leaver MP is being interviewed and asserting that 'the people' want to leave the EU, it's great to hear him shout 'stop Brexit'. I expect the people objecting prefer a more secretive and underhand 'campaigning' style (like that undertaken by Cambridge Analytica), rather than an ordinary bloke with a megaphone challenging the status quo.
The attitude that we should say anything, never stick our necks out, block a road, etc., is so passive. No wonder we have extreme wealth inequality, a dying NHS, etc. when we just keep on putting old Etonians in Downing Street and quietly sucking it all up.

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:14

Although to be fair to him, surely the tv channels could have sorted something out.

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:15

Passive?! Im trying to listen to what they are saying and i cant. He's an idiot.

twofingerstoEverything · 25/07/2019 19:16

Fibbke He is interfering with my democratic rights.

How?

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:21

Because i want to listen to the news to be informed about what's going on, and make my decisions about future voting, among other things, and i cant bloody hear anything!

The80sweregreat · 25/07/2019 19:21

Why do they need to hang around outside to do these interviews?
it's hot , but they must have AC indoors?

Those suits the men wear look uncomfortable.

I liked glokman. The darth Vader theme was good.
Steve is only doing his bit to remind people that remainers won't go away.
Good for him!

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:23

Not everyone that is being interviewed is a brexiteer. It would be nice to hear what everyone is saying.

bellinisurge · 25/07/2019 19:24

@Fibbke dh has actual hearing problems and it isn't interfering with his ability to hear the news. Turn the sound off and put the subtitles on if it's such a problem.

twofingerstoEverything · 25/07/2019 19:26

Not everyone that is being interviewed is a brexiteer.
Clearly no-one has said that. If you want to be 'informed', other news sources are available. You might like to turn your television sub-titles on, too, if you find the occasional shout of 'stop Brexit' so intrusive that you feel your 'democratic rights' are being interfered with.

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:27

I find it very difficult to listen to two things at once. Also the interviews are stilted and interrupted becuae of him.

Fine if none of you lot care what people are saying and would rather snigger behind your hands at someone being a bit naughty, but some of us grown ups like to listen to interviews.

twofingerstoEverything · 25/07/2019 19:30

WTF is your problem Fibbke? No-one is 'sniggering behind their hands'. We are defending his right to protest.

longwayoff · 25/07/2019 19:30

Two fingers, hear hear, 👍

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:30

And the subtitles are terrible for live interviews, but i do have them on.

Fibbke · 25/07/2019 19:31

Yes, he has a right to protest. And i have the right to think he's an irritating PITA. Hth.

twofingerstoEverything · 25/07/2019 19:33

Of course you do, Fibbke. Free country and all that.

NoTheresa · 25/07/2019 20:06

Fibbke

Yes, he has a right to protest. And i have the right to think he's an irritating PITA. Hth.

Agreed. Again. He really should just go away.

zonkin · 25/07/2019 20:32

@Fibbke I'm not sniggering behind my hands. I admire him.

If you are so worried about what's going on you could go and see your MP. They do hold surgeries and you are entitled to see them. Some of them don't even require you to make an appointment. Not too much effort is it?

And to whoever asked is silence consent. Well generally, in this country it is. Moan, groan....oh look what happened, that little law got passed without anyone noticing.
