AIBU to remind you period poverty exists?

Came on this morning, did not have any sanitary items. Asked my DM to send me £5 until payday (Friday). She could only PayPal so I tried to withdraw the funds and I’m on a 72 hour wait!

So no view of having sanitary items for 3 days... and now I also hate pay pal Sad

I always sling a disposable pack into a food bank basket in the supermarket but I want to know where to donate newly made reusables in the Uk for uk women and girls.

You need to use toilet paper from work and public toilets to make it free. I have done so. Not ideal, but I have managed it. You don't need to work in an office job, just a job with free access to toilets and loo roll.

This thread reminded me to go and donate to our sanpro scheme here in work, have been meaning to do it for a while and kept forgetting. Take what you need when you need it, donate when you can. It's a good idea.

OP hope everything is sorted now.

Those pointing out you can use toilet paper, socks etc are advising against sending money over the net. Donate sanpro to food banks and elsewhere if you want to help.
