The cheapest and the most expensive property within 5 miles...

Seeing so many threads about properties and the difference in prices reported I get why it can be so difficult for people to imagine the differences between areas.

Would IBU to be curious and ask you to hop on primelocation and see what are the cheapest and the most expensive properties within 5 miles of your home? Ignore shared ownership, retirement only and investment student studios. Obviously you don't have to post links, just say the area so you can keep anonymous.

I will start.
NW big city
The cheapest:
2 bed flat 35k. Fully livable! Just needs decorating. 15 min to city centre.
The most expensive: 😮
8 bed, oh so amazing, grade 2 listed £1,995,000. 25 min to city centre.

Between Wakefield, Huddersfield and Barnsley
£58K - 2 bed new build flat in village on outskirts of Wakefield. It’s been for sale since Sept last year. It’s in the catchment for a really sought after school.

£1.67M - 7 bed detached property, old farmhouse with 3.5 acres of land, and 5 more by negotiation. snooker room, gym and all sorts of gubbins. Also been for sale since September last year, out of catchment for school mentioned above.

Most expensive (I presume) - Not many details, looks like a small palace "POA".

Most expensive showing price - 7 bed - £4,750,000

Cheapest - 1 bed flat- £125,000

NW Lancashire.

Cheapest:
£3,500 guide price for a studio flat for auction followed by,
£10,000 guide price for a 2 bed derelict house up for auction, and £10,000 for a 1 bed park home

Most expensive:
POA for a 7 bed Manor House, and POA for a 4 bed detached house on 14 acres, followed by,
£1.7million for 5 bed on 10 acres with equestrian facilities.

£1,600,000 farm with four bedroom period house, 267 acres, and outbuildings 'with potential for diversification'.
£49,995 one bed upper flat with own external door and garden. Immaculate in the description and also the photos.
Both offers over.

Cheapest - £59950 1 bed flat, nicely done out but in a less than desirable area of my town.

Most expensive- £3.95m gorgeous 7 bed mansion in nearby village popular with footballers.

£1.7 million. Lovely big house in the country.
£60k studio flat in the very middle of town. Short walk to the train station. 1hr from London.

Lowest price £15k garage! £110,000 for a ground floor studio flat.

Highest price £6,760,000 9 bedroom home with 23 acres and multiple outbuildings.

Greater London. Most expensive £29, 000, 000: 11 bedrooms, snooker room, pool, library. Cheapest - a garage for £19k... or (other than retirement homes) a one bed house boat at £80k...

Most expensive is £1.8m Manor House, 8 bedrooms, 1.5 acres

Cheapest is £105k 2 bed maisonette, needs quite a bit of work

20k, 1 bed terraced. 'Good condition'

£550k, 6 bed detached.

These houses are both over 100 years old, and literally a 2 minute walk from each other!
