The cheapest and the most expensive property within 5 miles...

Seeing so many threads about properties and the difference in prices reported I get why it can be so difficult for people to imagine the differences between areas.

Would IBU to be curious and ask you to hop on primelocation and see what are the cheapest and the most expensive properties within 5 miles of your home? Ignore shared ownership, retirement only and investment student studios. Obviously you don't have to post links, just say the area so you can keep anonymous.

I will start.
NW big city
The cheapest:
2 bed flat 35k. Fully livable! Just needs decorating. 15 min to city centre.
The most expensive: 😮
8 bed, oh so amazing, grade 2 listed £1,995,000. 25 min to city centre.

Cheapest - £38,000 for a 1 bed flat
Most expensive - £1.35 million for a 4 bed grade II listed farmhouse

Somewhere near north manchester.

Sheffield.

Most expensive is a13 bed Elizabethan country house for 3 million.

Cheapest is 3 bed terrace for £20,000.

Neither property are actually in Sheffield but are within 5 miles.

Cheapest - £60000 for a 2 bed flat
Most expensive - £1.6 million for a massive 6 bed detached house

Hertfordshire. £3.5m for a 6 bed detached, or £125k for a 1 bed flat.

Most expensive £1.7M for a five bed detached.
This is West Somerset.

Most expensive £4.9M 7 bed detached, looks like one of the Desperate Housewives houses on Wisteria Lane!

Cheapest (that isn't shared ownership) £89,000 bungalow 'park home', nice inside but looks like a static caravan from the outside.

Cotswold-y village near big city:

Most expensive is a detached, 7- bed house with walled garden and self- contained 1- bed flat for £6,250,000!

Least expensive was, I thought, a 2- bed flat for £65,000 but that's the 25% share price!

Least expensive for the whole property is actually a 2-bed terraced hose for £137,500.

The most expensive property: 5 bedroom country house, £1.700.000

The cheapest property: 1 bedroom apartment, offers over £30k (but it's going for auction, some renovation needed even though it doesn't look too bad). Next ones up would be flat share (25%) in a 2 bedroom flat for offers over £32500 and a one bedroom flat for offers over £35k
