So my partner has bought this tea shirt for his 3 year old granddaughter. I know what I think of it but I'd like to ask you what you all think?

I guess it's OK if it's just to wear while eating her tea and will get covered in spaghetti and stuff.

SnakesAndStones · 19/07/2019 20:12

It's gross and I feel really uncomfortable about a little girl having to wear it without understanding what it says or why.

EskewedBeef · 19/07/2019 20:13

At least it's not like one of those x rated ones.

Just PG.

Brilliant Grin

MondeoFan · 19/07/2019 20:13

Insane to let a child wear that.
What's wrong with an Elsa T-shirt?

FatThor · 19/07/2019 20:13

Ugh, is your partner a bit of a twat? Everyone will think he is anyway

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 19/07/2019 20:14

Barbie
It would look better if you spat your tea over it!

It is utterly hideous. It makes Al Capone look like a song and dance man.

Your DH isn’t Tony Soprano is he?

FairyFlake45 · 19/07/2019 20:15

Awful! I wouldn’t let my child wear it!

Serin · 19/07/2019 20:15

Yuck.
What attracts you yo him OP?

HeadintheiClouds · 19/07/2019 20:17

The idea of a little toddler innocently walking round wearing that is a little bit nauseating, actually.

Chunkers · 19/07/2019 20:19

if anybody actually reads the full slogan then they will have been staring at his poor granddaughter for longer than decency permits.

Lottle · 19/07/2019 20:19

Weird. I'm not into slogan tees but this is particularly unpleasant. A 3 year old wearing a top about dead bodies?! I'm so sorry the dog ate it/it shrunk in the wash/got lost at swimming /was too small for her....

AcrossthePond55 · 19/07/2019 20:20

I think it's just wrong to put aggressive messages like this on a child. It's not 'clever' or 'funny'.

If my child received this shirt it would have a HUGE unwashable stain all down the front of it 15 seconds after the giver left the house.

luckyorange · 19/07/2019 20:21

No I wouldn't be happy to put my little ones in it sorry! Hard when it's a gift from family!

UsedtobeFeckless · 19/07/2019 20:22

Naff and unpleasant ... Why would you put a kid you'e fond of into something that skanky?

UsedtobeFeckless · 19/07/2019 20:23

Aaargh. You're!

HungryForSnacks · 19/07/2019 20:23

Landfill

lavenderbluedilly · 19/07/2019 20:24

It’s tone is rather aggressive. I can’t imagine the child’s parents will like it either

Aworldofmyown · 19/07/2019 20:26

oh dear!!

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 19/07/2019 20:27

So ..... I've got a three year old (unbeknownst to the poor little one) suggesting that, should I accidentally clip her with my trolley in Aldi, they'll never find my body?

Yeah, good luck with that Grandpa Angry

See? It's already brought out the grump in me. And ...... I was having a good day Blush

Nope, I really don't like it at all.

DaphneFanshaw · 19/07/2019 20:28

I think it’s rather aggressive and tacky.
Has your DP considered yoga ? It could help with his tranquilitea.

LilouBlue · 19/07/2019 20:28

Fucking awful. Complete lack of taste. It's not funny, or clever, or sweet. It'd go straight in the bin.

PositiveVibez · 19/07/2019 20:31

There is an obvious irony in your partner expressing (via a third party) his 'serious dislike for stupid people', since I assume money changed hands here

😂😂

Also the 'PG' comment. 🤣

MollyHuaCha · 19/07/2019 20:31

Turn it inside out and use it as a duster.

TantricTwist · 19/07/2019 20:32

Where is the T-Shirt even from?

He'd be my Ex-DP by now after buying that hideous thing.

ohhdearyme · 19/07/2019 20:34

Not exactly earl grey is it?
