And why?

I'm gravitating towards Storybrooke from OUAT

My initial thought was Discworld, but I'm wondering if venturing into Tuesday Next's would allow me to visit anywhere I wanted.

ethelfleda · 11/07/2019 19:56

The world of Harry Potter! Definitely!
I like to think that wizards and witches and Hogwarts exists but we can’t see them cause we’re muggles.

Blueoasis · 11/07/2019 20:00

Hard to choose..

Harry Potter is an obvious one. Going to hogwarts would be so fun and interesting.

Being an elf in Lord of the rings would be awesome though..

Living in mystic falls would be cool too, as long as I was as pretty as the main characters and could be a vampire.

Star wars would be interesting, of course this is starting from the original trilogy, not the crap new one.

I would love to go to Pandora too and be one of the navi.

Game of thrones I guess would be cool, if I could have a dragon but then I would probably be mad too. Grin Maybe go with the world eragon is from instead for dragons.

Or if I was a man, being one of King Arthur's knights would be brilliant.

Yeah I can't choose. Grin

GetUpAgain · 11/07/2019 20:01

Has to be warm!
Grace and Frankie's beach house.
Jane the Virgin's place (the Rafael version not bloody Michael)
The Death in Paradise beach hut.

Blueoasis · 11/07/2019 20:02

I forgot narnia!

KatsutheClockworkOctopus · 11/07/2019 20:04

Lots already mentioned.

Also The Invisible Library World. ( I have an indecent crush on Kai Blush)

Blueoasis · 11/07/2019 20:05

And forgot the marvel universe. So many to choose from.

musicinspring1 · 11/07/2019 20:05

Mystic Falls but only if I’m a hot vampire and Damon is in love with me 😜

Otherwise Stars Hollow is a good call

H2OH20Everywhere · 11/07/2019 20:05

Three Pines (so long as I wasn't murdered!)

Somewhere in Harry Potter's world (somewhere in the countryside, with plenty of room for a few pet hippogriffs, dragons and nifflers).

Briesau am Tiernsee on the edge of the lake, and get a job at the Chalet School.

Magmatic80 · 11/07/2019 20:05

Any of the communities in Jenny Colgan’s more recent universe, but probably the island off Cornwall with the beach street bakery. I love the idea of the storms battering down while being cosy inside, safe from the mainland.

Actually, I want to be in the Scottish place with the book shop truck. With the trains.

CaptainJaneway62 · 11/07/2019 20:12

I want to live with William Crompton in Bon Temps once he's turned me into a vampire and I want to be best friends with Jessica Hamby and Sookie Stackhouse! Grin

CaptainJaneway62 · 11/07/2019 20:12

Compton flipping autocorrect!

hiccupgate · 11/07/2019 20:12

I've just scrolled through seven pages and not one person has queried pp on Holby City?!

Middle Earth for my two pence worth. Fancy myself as an elf but the reality is I'd be bumbling around the Shire, hairy toes and all 😁.

IceCreamSoda99 · 11/07/2019 20:18

@HelenaDove I hope I don't sound patronizing but your post really touched me, I'm glad you had an escape and I hope the bullying didn't have a lasting effect.

For me it be Jane Austen's Emma, nothing really terrible happens in Highbury and everyone seems to get a happy ending of sorts! Obviously I'd like to be the mistress of Donwell Abbey! Grin

Bagadverts · 11/07/2019 20:18

Harry Potter as one of the teachers, not one that gets involved any of the battles though.

Star Trek - next generation because I’d home there would be a cure/remedy for my disability.

MsAwesomeDragon · 11/07/2019 20:39

I'd happily be a Dragonrider on Pern, or I might quite happily be a Harper. (I loved the Pern books when I was a teenager).

Or the wheel of time world. I'd love to be an Aes Sedai. That's another series I read as a teenager, and am currently rereading so I can read the last few books as there's so many of them.

TheHorseOnSeventhAvenue · 11/07/2019 20:43

Wimbledon Common with the Wombles - living on the common with a house that sleeps a dozen plus. No rent or mortgage in SW London. Adorable extended family - would happily litter pick every weekend!

nespressowoo · 11/07/2019 20:54

Hogwarts for sure

Warmhandscoldheart · 11/07/2019 21:01

The Good Place as a demon.
Kattegat as Rollo's wife.
Emmerdale as a permanent resident of Eric's guest house and an extra in the Woolpack.

thenightsky · 11/07/2019 21:04

Jilly Cooper's Rutshire. I'd be married to a beautifully tanned polo player who would be devoted to me.

Alicecooperslovechild · 11/07/2019 21:11

Chalet School - I could marry a doctor, never work and eat cake constantly.
If not, either Chilli's small town daytime TV movie or Rosalind Pilcher's Rosemullion.

Sgtmajormummy · 11/07/2019 21:17

I want to live Nora Walker’s life in Brothers and Sisters. Especially the lovely house and family dinners.

Redcrayons · 11/07/2019 21:25

Harry Potter, Obviously
Cabot Cove, I'd be Jessica Fletchers assistant and be off having adventures and solving cases (not getting murdered)
I'd like Leslie Knope to be my work mentor/best friend
I want to be a March sister

I've grown out of wanting to be in Wuthering Heights, I can't be bothered with the drama. I'd rather be a genteel lady who sits around drinking tea, sewing and playing the piano for gentleman callers.

Sceptre86 · 11/07/2019 21:25

First choice would be Harry Potter, I would work at an apothecary which is the closest job to what I do now. After that central city, star city or metropolis as I have a slight DC obsession.

Sceptre86 · 11/07/2019 21:26

Also agree with pp on Cabot cove, I still watch the reruns with Jessica!
