Honestly? It’s not money (or lack thereof), or tattoos, or accent imho... for me the people I’d consider “common” are those with bad manners and poor vocabulary

Nothing to do with money, class or accent.

Behaviour...
Swearing loudly in the street for example

They just dance and drink and screw because there's nothing else to do.

Using words like “ain’t” or “was” when they mean “were”... “We was driving down the road” shudder

Attitude, values and aspirations

Talking loudly about their personal problems in public places.

Going to a supermarket and having not money (or at least pretending to)

In reality 'common' is subjective to many people but I think you are referring to a certain class by using the world common which seems rather ignorant imo

Curious, a relative thinks talking t o the neighbours is common, whereas my mil thinks spitting is.
I'm very sweary, but I cringe when I hear someone cussing in public.
Als o when people excessively use the word 'like'.

I have tattoos, l grew up on a council estate in south London, l don't have a degree, my grandparents were so poor as children they didn't have shoes..sometimes l say ain't, when l'm in my natural surroundings..

According to my mum:
Spitting in the street (something my sister picked up at a toddler group on a postwar sink estate in the 1970s).
Soaking up gravy/stew with bread
Drinking tea with a meal
