Following on from this -it was just getting interesting. Someone posted about how Meghan called herself a feminist but hadn’t earned the title. I was interested to know how you earned the title- but the thread ended.

Well...there have been a couple of people reportedly saying that Meghan was asking to be introduced to famous British men.

She knew enough about Ashley Cole to turn down a meeting because of his reputation, but she didn't know anything about Prince Harry?

Did she say she didn't know who he was?

it's possible to know who someone is but know nothing of their personality.

I'm not sure what the issue is with her asking to meet famous British men?

Thousands of people use dating apps etc and state their preferences. I really don't see the problem here.

We know more about their lifestyles etc than their personalities.

And obviously Catherine’s pursuit of William is perfectly fine.....

Yes, it was just coincidence that the first thing they did was get out their respective diaries of good works and talk about their philantrophic endeavours. If I went on a blind date it's the first thing I would do too if I knew nothing of their personality.

Oh I don't know, they could have chatted about her 'guy's gal' burger ad. All that pouting and sexy gazing would've been right up Cole's street.

Yup I can see why those who are so invested in the royal family down to the prices of every gown would find it shocking that someone only knows prince Harry by name and isn’t following their latest updates and has no idea about their personality.

But reality is, the royal family is only important to a handful and Meghan Markle might be the only reason the Americans are talking about him right now

I know nothing about the royals of other countries if I’m honest and hardly knew about the royal family to be honest as I had little interest in monarchies and found the whole concept boring.

Meghan spiced it up for me, as I used to watch suits and was annoyed when my favourite actors got taken off the show and that’s how I got nosey.

So really... Meghan has indeed served the royal family by bringing more interest in them. So there goes your taxes.

I don't know their personalities either, but I wouldn't pretend to not know what a big deal the royal family was.

There is massive interest in the British royal family in America, and was long before Meghan joined.

She didn’t pretend they weren’t a big deal. She said she didn’t know much about them.
