I went in 94 and 95 and saw numerous bands from half a mile away. It was great.

This thread has made me want to go again. And wear glitter face paint.

Brandon Flowers is a bit skinny and clean for me. I prefer someone a bit sweatier, hairier, or less tidy, like that Foals bloke, or Springsteen, or Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters are SO on my list of bands I want to see! Not managed to get tickets yet). I can take or leave the Killers, but in their favour, they have a lot of hits, so at least you can sing along with their set pretty easily.

I didnt get glastonbury but grow up in its shadow so saw the effect on local roads. Why people want to sit in mud or bake in the sun i dont know but then i never got camping. Yanbu but for the age thing. If someone like its aged 78, 99 why not. Different things for different people
