Im not a conservative voter and I’m also anti Brexit. Not sure who is going to be worse - Jeremy or Boris!
Who would you back more (even if you hate them both) and why?

OP posts:
Fibbke · 26/06/2019 13:41

Boris

Jeremy wants to take all my money!

MaMaMaMySharona · 26/06/2019 13:42

If I had to pick I'd go with Hunt, just because I cannot stand Boris and think he's even less truthful than most other Tory MPs.

I also don't like this whole 'we will leave on 31st October no matter what' - personally I'd rather they tried to fix the issue regardless of how long it takes, rather than just stick to a timeline. Hunt appears to be of the same opinion as me on that.

MyOpinionIsValid · 26/06/2019 13:42

Grieves me to say it, Jeremy - Im NHS

I'd still shag Boris though.

familycourtq · 26/06/2019 13:43

I have never voted Tory and never will. They are both beneath contempt in my view. It’s like comparing shit and shite.

IsabellaLinton · 26/06/2019 13:43

Much as I dislike him, Boris.

QueenBlueberries · 26/06/2019 13:44

I think that the representation of Brexit and the process of leaving the EU presented by Boris Johnson is complete tosh. Between this pile of shit and the other pile of shit presented by Jeremy Hunt, I think the Hunt's version is slightly (but only slightly) more realistic. Johnson is just making stuff up.

LaurieMarlow · 26/06/2019 13:46

Hunt is a twat, but he’s not as devious and deceitful as Boris. So him.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 26/06/2019 13:46

It’s not a nice choice is it. Like a bad game of snog, marry, avoid. The only benefit I can see to Boris is that he might fuck up so monumentally that we get a GE a bit sooner (although I haven’t a clue who I’d actually vote for if we got one).

VivienneHolt · 26/06/2019 13:46

Jeremy, but not remotely happy about it.

VivienneHolt · 26/06/2019 13:47

I'd still shag Boris though

Contrary to your username this is not a valid opinion

HouseOfGoldandBones · 26/06/2019 13:47

As my DH said last night, it's like trying to decide whether to eat your own shite or someone elses.

MrPan · 26/06/2019 13:48

Shouldn't this be Labour or Conservative? We aren't a presidential state yet?

I'd resigned from Labour over Brexit and sex self-i.d - but nothing would ever get me to vote Tory, for good, sane reasons.
So it's Labour.

Sonicknuckles · 26/06/2019 13:51

Jeremy

JudefromJersey · 26/06/2019 13:51

100% what Fibbke said.

However I foresee the worst of all scenarios happening:
Boris gets in,
we crash out of Europe with no deal,
the shit hits the fan,
a general election is called,
Corbyn becomes PM and
the country enters into a crippling recession.

Either way I don’t fancy the outcome.

Bring back Nick Clegg. All is forgiven.

SkintAsASkintThing · 26/06/2019 13:51

Death by firing squad 💁

MrPan · 26/06/2019 13:56

Jude...that little scenario is fundamentally screwed. Nick Clegg enabled all of this shit, austerity and all. Lots of people have been sentenced to recession for years.
So Nick Clegg can fuck off, with his sometime pal Cameron.

And in this scenario Johnson triggers the recession then disappears, a la Cameron. Sooo Tory.

teyem · 26/06/2019 13:58

I think, Boris. I think. Boris is just a plain mercenary shit, Hunt seems to have delusions of being a good guy while he dismantles the NHS and threatens to dick about with abortion laws.

MaMaMaMySharona · 26/06/2019 14:00

I'd worry about a GE before Brexit is delivered in case fucking Farage gets in - worst nightmare.

Ellabella989 · 26/06/2019 14:01

Wish the Green Party would get more of a chance but it’ll never happen :-(

OP posts:
BorisIsABellend · 26/06/2019 14:02

I'd still shag Boris though.

I think you need help.

LaurieFairyCake · 26/06/2019 14:03

It's like choosing between syphilis and crabs

pigsDOfly · 26/06/2019 14:03

Hunt over Johnson for all the same reasons as MySharona.

The thought of Johnson being our pm scares the hell out of me. Him being pm and crashing us out of the EU without a deal terrifies me.

TheABC · 26/06/2019 14:04

Boris, purely because the opposition in the Tory party is building and watching him go down in flames will be a delight to behold. It always amazes me that so many people want the leadership job of that party as it's basically a bloodsport and they are the next human sacrifice.

CassianAndor · 26/06/2019 14:05

Rory

BorisIsABellend · 26/06/2019 14:07

It's like choosing between syphilis and crabs

So true.

Jeremy or Boris? Who do you prefer?
