Im not a conservative voter and I’m also anti Brexit. Not sure who is going to be worse - Jeremy or Boris!
Who would you back more (even if you hate them both) and why?

OP posts:
Fibbke · 26/06/2019 14:08

Ah! I thought you meant Jeremy Corbyn!

Probably still Boris as he's more socially liberal than JH

fishfingersandhummous · 26/06/2019 14:10

Boris. He’s a known. Hunt is a devious unknown.

Suvin · 26/06/2019 14:10

It’s like comparing shit and shite

I was going to say gonorrhoea and syphilis, but I suppose the principle's much the same.

Mendacious, amoral self-promoting faux-buffoon vs possibly the most incompetent Minister for Health ever? Tough one.

codemonkey · 26/06/2019 14:10

*Boris

Jeremy wants to take all my money!*

And there, in a nutshell, is Tory ideology.

DeRigueurMortis · 26/06/2019 14:14

Jeremy, but it is a lesser of two evils.

dottiedodah · 26/06/2019 14:21

I pains me to say so .But I think Boris, over Jeremy Hunt simply because of Hunts treatment of Nursing staff ,and the general dismantling of NHS really.DH says Boris would have done the same ,but who knows?like trying to decide between a rock and a hard place !

Fibbke · 26/06/2019 14:27

And there, in a nutshell, is Tory ideology

Possibly. But i actually vote Lib Dem Grin

bellinisurge · 26/06/2019 14:35

Don't call them by their first names. Johnson wants to be treated like some sort of celebrity phenomenon rather than the duplicitous twat that he is.
Johnson or Hunt? Neither but if I have to choose, Hunt. At least he is a grown up.

Beesandcheese · 26/06/2019 14:40

Revolution. I favour storming the houses of parliament and telling these parasitical jokes to piss right off.

Sunshine93 · 26/06/2019 14:41

LaurieFairyCake has it right

But I reluctantly would choose Hunt as Boris Johnson is a racist, sexist, right wing, diabolical person. HUNT is just a right wing fairly diabolical person.

PawPawNoodle · 26/06/2019 14:42

I'd prefer a swift blow to the head, if I'm honest.

Ellabella989 · 26/06/2019 14:42

@beesandcheese haha I like that idea!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 26/06/2019 14:45

Probably hunt

But why does he want to take all my money

I don’t personally have any...

MrsTerryPratchett · 26/06/2019 14:47

It's like choosing between syphilis and crabs

I was going to say gonorrhoea and syphilis

And I was going to say syphilis and hepatitis. But interestingly, always syphilis. You look at their faces and just think, "this reminds me of syphilis".

Isatis · 26/06/2019 14:57

I don't want either, but at least Corbyn is capable of reading a brief and answering questions sensible. Over the last few days Johnson's performances have been absolutely lamentable, and it is truly terrifying to think of someone as utterly lazy, self-serving and incompetent as this being in charge of the country. His suggestion of magically finding £9 billion to give his rich mates a tax cut is the final straw.

Isatis · 26/06/2019 14:58

Oops, I meant Hunt, not Corbyn.

DarkAtEndOfTunnel · 26/06/2019 14:58

Definitely syphilis or hepatitis.
Hunt of the two, but oh my god for the UK to be in this position. I wish Hammond had stood.

Cameron will never suffer for what he's done. There's no justice.

elliejjtiny · 26/06/2019 15:00

I thought this was going to be a baby name thread Grin.

I don't know, is neither an option?

MondayMonday89 · 26/06/2019 15:03

I thought this was a baby name thread! Was going to suggest you give your head a wobble!

ChocChocButtons · 26/06/2019 15:03

Boris hands down no contest.

Hecketyheck · 26/06/2019 15:05

Is "none of the above" an option?

Fibbke · 26/06/2019 15:06

Boris may be a buffoon but at leadt he is a socially liberal buffoon. Hunt is a psychopath.

Sirzy · 26/06/2019 15:07

Like most I don’t want either.

In the past few days I am swinging towards hunt being the lesser of two evils

Suvin · 26/06/2019 15:08

But interestingly, always syphilis. You look at their faces and just think, "this reminds me of syphilis".

I shouldn't have found this as funny as I do, given the topic under conversation... Grin

1forAll74 · 26/06/2019 15:08

Jeremy Hunt said yesterday, that he has waited, and wanted to be the Prime minister, for 30 years. Most people named Jeremy, always have high opinions of themselves,so we will see ! But Boris for me !!
