I know we don't know the facts of Phillip Schofield's disagreement with Amanda Holden but she's going around blaming him in the papers for her losing work opportunities without a shred of evidence. Surely he wouldn't have that much power over decisions as a presenter?! Feel sorry for the poor guy, he seems genuine enough and not the sort to bear grudges for no reason but should have a right of reply at least.

I don't know why they are both on the tele.

To this day I still don’t understand why/how Amanda Holden is a person on TV. What did/does she do to get work? She has no personality, no presenting skills, no talent, she looks out of her depth in anything I’ve seen her on. It sounds silly but in my head she isn’t a real person but a “generic Female presenter” that ITV use instead of an actual person.

Joxer, that’s such an accurate description of AH. I don’t even have a TV, but feel that way when I see her in a magazine / online...

Isn’t Amanda famous because she married someone famous? Or had an affair with someone famous?

She was married to Les Dennis when he was famous back in the 80's/90's

And had an affair with Neil Morrissey.

I don't know. While I don't warm to AH, she's not the first to say there's a problem here.

Well maybe he does get some say given they would have to present together, but maybe he has very good reason to not want to work with her (hasn't she done some stand in on this morning in the past?). I wouldn't want to work with her either.

I've not heard one person in real life or on here say they like Amanda Holden. I don't know why she's on bloody everything at the moment.

I'm not an Amanda Holden fan but I saw her in Throughly Modern Millie in my teens and she certainly can dance.

I'm no fan of AH but she has acting credits that date back further than her marriage to LD.

It's not relevant whether anyone likes her though. What matters is whether she is being kept out of work purely because PS has taken a dislike.
We don't always get to choose our colleagues but have to behave professionally, regardless.
If lots of people say the same thing, it indicates the problem is with him not them.

She makes my ears bleed. It adds insult to injury that Heart radio are inflicting her on my ears in the morning.

I like Philip schofield. I can’t put my finger on why I’m not keen on Amanda Holden- she seems so steely behind the smiling and laughing, like she has a real mean streak. Can’t quite place it though.

Where has this come from? Anyone have a link?
Though I have to agree, much as I dislike PS and have read that he's not as nice as he tries to make out AH doesn't have much in the way of presenting skills for someone that makes a living presenting.

I have little sympathy for her tbh. I remember her on a chat show donning a wig and mocking Susan Boyle in a really cruel way. I've no idea what has gone on with Schofield, but television is a cut-throat business, and I'm sure that most of them take every opportunity to advance themselves at other people's expense.

Cannot stand him (despite being of age for him being a part of my childhood). Very full of his own importance. He and Amanda are very alike in that way.

She's already got people turning off Heart breakfast, he probably didn't want them doing it to This Morning too. Can't say I blame him.

It’s probably all influenced by their agents tbh. Philip, holly, ant and Dec are all same agency, plus lots of others, and they dominate itv.

Just posted same on the other thread about the same subject, but I have a friend who works on the technical side and likes him very much and says he's a very nice, amiable chap.
