What do you do in your spare time

Mine is cycling & reading fiction

Bit limited since I had kids though so tends to be more of an ad hoc domestic thing rather than spending weeks and weeks in the US at a time now. I do some recreational forecasting when there is weather of interest.

I did a one day intro course with Ross at the Timber Batts pub (kaosblacksmiths.com/) and forge in the North Downs in Kent.

I made a toasting fork and what is often described as a 'Viking Lady's Knife' or a 'Blacksmith's Knife'. I got the bug and built myself a mini forge in the back garden

Cycling and kayaking mostly, trying to start jogging.

Scrabble, reading, walking, pubs (esp riverside ones) and days out in the countryside.

Surfing the net (esp here).

I used to do upcycling

Reading, history especially the Wars of the Roses. Nature. I promise I'm more craic at parties than I sound

Reading and I make and sell story stones to schools/preschools and anyone else who wants them.

I’d love to tell you but it could be too outing so can only hint .

But think crafty hobby, involving tiles / crockery cut up small and reassembled to make pictures.

Slow runner, slightly more proficient cyclist, sewer, quilter, knitter, bookworm, my terriers, baking, sketchbooker, crime & serial killer documentaries & books - nothing graphic but psychology focused ie why/what made them do it, now have to admit to morphing into a slight Hitler documentary/book interest as to how did such an insignificant odd looking man, who had been a failure for most of his life become so powerful and wreck such devastation & heartbreak

Eating sleeping reading and playing with my dog! I've just taken up running. Never run before but I've got a place in the London marathon next year! Going to buy a bike too so will cycle too to get my fitness up. As I'm not fit and am currently about six stone overweight!!!

Dance. I can step a mean James Brown & go to lots of 70s events. Reading. As much fiction as I have time for. Learning Spanish at the moment. I'd like to start knotting again as I found it relaxing, nice to let the mind drift
