To think that Labour will not be able to win a General Election with Corbyn as leader

Here we are, looking at a Boris post truth Trump style of premiership and a no deal Brexit, yet the opposition is sitting on the fence on the latter, and run by someone who, while he might have his own fan base, is never going to win the country (as in UK) IMO.

For the greater good he should stand down IMO, and let someone else take over. Or we risk being ruled by a much more right wing Tory party for years to come, and the consequences of that don’t bear thinking about.

Oh also, there's no bloody escape from it, it's permeated every area of our lives, but agree, am sick of it. Meanwhile the nutters talk of prorogueing parliament. Hurrah for democracy and sovereignty, hurrah for the seventeenth century, let's appoint a Witchfinder General and move to the full Cromwell effect. Grim.

I think a lot of poor people looked at who was supporting remain, big businesses, the banks ( that messed up their small pensions and mortgages in the recession) people telling them they knew better a whole load of people who had promised to make their lives better for years both Tory and Labour politicians and their lives hadn't got any better; that it was good for London ( often what is good for London isn't so good for Bradford, Derby etc) people seen as being on the EU gravy train, that most comfortable/ well off and rich people wanted to remain .....and then voted leave

Then they were only confirming their own bias in the end.

Well aren't we all zipee. I am sure you are not immune from that.
By the way winning seats from the Tories is not the same as winning an election Grin. Mays campaign was the worst political campaign I have seen (corbyns luke warm support of remain comes a close second) and they still didnt win.

Will Corbyn ever step aside for the sake of the Labour Party, I don’t think so. We will be stuck with Boris for the next 3 years 🙄
