To be weirded out by the masseuse messaging my boobs?

Had a massage today. Badly needed with picking up a toddler.
Anyway, after a lovely back and leg massage, the masseuse (50 year oldish lady) asked me to turn over and did my front and massages my breasts.

She'd already pulled my knickers below my bottom to do the back massage which I was a bit uncomfortable with but told myself not to be silly

But the breast massage is a bit much. It wasnt sexual in anyway and I was definitely not aroused!

Is this normal? I've had massages in the past and never had a boob massage .

Tell me I'm not crazy for feeling a bit weird about the whole thing

I have had breasts massaged once with a 2 hour hawian massage but this was the one and only time, its an intense massage where they use their whole body at times are on top of you.

I had a full body massage in India many years ago and to my horror yes it included breasts, i too was mortified 🙈

On holiday in Spain I noticed Thai women going sun lounger to sun lounger to try and sell full body massages and they were including the boobs.

No. That's not the norm OP. Is there anyone you can talk to about this like the manager? If not, I would report. Think this was sexual assault to be honest.

Not common in the UK but pretty normal many places, as is the pulling down of underwear (never had a massage this isn't done; the one time I had a proper sports massage, from a guy who worked on footballers, he absolutely went to town on my bum).

If you really didn't like it, don't go back and check what's involved in a massage/state what you don't want involved in advance. A lot of places now will ask/check your boundaries around where you don't want to be touched in advance but there are a huge range of styles and cultural traditions of massage.

Former massage therapist here. Breast massage is a thing, it is possible that she was trying to work your pectoral muscle through the breast tissue which if you have upper back issues can cause problems. By all means if you were uncomfortable do not return, but there very likely wasn't anything sexual about it and probably a cultural thing.

I've had it in Sri Lanka and Thailand during a full body massage. I was a bit surprised first time it happened but it's the norm in some cultures

Happened to me on holiday in Goa - first ever time I’d had a massage and safe to say it wasn’t what I was prepared for!

I wouldn’t say they were manhandled in a squeezing or groping way though, more sweeping movements, if that’s any better?!?

I've had this too at a popular spa in the uk. Was a bit weird but def not sexual.

Oh jeez this has happened to me once, it was a v posh spa in London and the spa package was a gift from my boss (family were members there, membership per month was more than I earned in a month!) it freaked me out - I couldn't say anything, it's a kind of shock almost! Re the pants down the bum thing, I am used to them being pulled down a bit and a towel being tucked in (to stop the oil getting on them) but nothing more than that.

I'm not a prude, I'm used to getting my fairy out for a brazilian for example but that's because i KNOW what to expect!

Yes, boobs were massages during a pregnancy massage in Morocco, was proper weird! She had two hours and could't do much to my back much for obvious reasons so I figured she just ran out of space.

My favourite experience was on honeymoon in the Maldives. We had booked a lovely couples massage, candles, soft music and the masseuse going to town on a spot on my back half way through she also kneaded my bum rather painfully but I was too embarrassed to say anything.

I never had a breast massage either, but thinking about it, I never remove my bra either. I mean, it's unhooked, the straps are not on, but it's kind of resting on my actual boobs when I am on my back, even covered by the towel.

I once had an Ayurvedic massage in India where this happened. I’m sure it was only meant to be a back massage! I didn’t particularly enjoy the experience.

I have had lots of massage and on several occasions this has included my breasts. It happened once in the UK with a male masseuse - he did ask if I was happy with it and I said to go ahead. It was long sweeping movements. I always find it quite amusing!!
You should expect your pants to be pulled down. Buttocks are very large muscles so of course need to be massaged too!

It's pretty standard in other cultures, perhaps she trained in a specific type of massage, or trained abroad. I'd expect to be asked first.

I had one in France where she pulled the towel down to my waist and massaged my upper chest and down between my breasts. I didn’t enjoy it at all (and I’m bisexual so it’s not like a woman has never touched me there and that’s why I was tense), Just too intimate. If she touched my actual breasts I think I’d have told her to stop.
