To ask what week you gave birth?

39 weeks and so, so fed up. Baby is measuring big, I have only put any real weight on on my bump and it’s exhausting.

I’ve had cramps since 37 weeks, they seem to be getting progressively worse but then back to nothing.

So I just want to know to drive myself mad what week you went into labour, especially with the first?

And if anyone knows any secret to getting this baby out, I’m willing to pay Wink

38+6, was quite grateful I never got the hideously uncomfortable stage. Hoping DC2 might pop out a week early also...

DinoMamasaurus · 01/06/2019 19:57

angelikacpickles · 01/06/2019 19:57

41+3, it was July and I just sat on the sofa with a fan pointed at me for about 2 weeks before Grin

Your title asks when baby was born but your post asks about starting labour, so I'll give both...

DC1: started 39+5, finished 40+0
DC2: started and finished 43+0

Dontrainonmyparade · 01/06/2019 22:45

38 with first, 39 with second, 40 with third. I’m not having a fourth but am interested to see if we’d end up at 41 😂

41! But I had no cramps or anything before then! How do people go over? I was to be induced the day after.

funinthesun19 · 01/06/2019 23:26

41+0, 39+2, 40+1 and 40+6

Pleasegodgotosleep · 01/06/2019 23:36

40+4 for first one. Was desperate by that stage so had tried walking, dancing, bouncing on ball, eating pineapple and hot curry, reflexology and Clary Sage oil in baths/massage. In the end sex worked 🤣🤣🤣

Second one was booked for elective section at 39+4 but waters broke at 38+6 and she arrived by section at exactly 39 weeks. No sex required that time just running after a toddler 🤣🤣

Fedoratheexploreer · 01/06/2019 23:40

42+2 for DS1. Still a stubborn git.
40+4 for DS2, who just fell out. Into the loo.

SisyphusHadItEasy · 02/06/2019 00:24

34+5 and 29+4.

DeathyMcDeathStarFace · 02/06/2019 02:02

39+2 for ds1
40+6 for ds2 but had Braxton hicks for a couple of days beforehand
39+6 for ds3
40+1 for ds4

All spontaneous and pretty quick, I was in labour for just under 17 hours between all four labours! I know people who have been in labour for three days with one baby so I was very fortunate.

Unfortunately babies come at any time and take different lengths of time to make it out, I wish I could predict when your lo will come but I can't. But wishing you all the best for a labour that comes soon and you will soon have lo safe in your arms.
