To ask what week you gave birth?

39 weeks and so, so fed up. Baby is measuring big, I have only put any real weight on on my bump and it’s exhausting.

I’ve had cramps since 37 weeks, they seem to be getting progressively worse but then back to nothing.

So I just want to know to drive myself mad what week you went into labour, especially with the first?

And if anyone knows any secret to getting this baby out, I’m willing to pay Wink

40+2 on my first. I had a sweep on my due date DD arrived 2 days later.
36 on my second, he was born in an hour, he still has no patience.
Goodluck it will not be long now, get some rest to prepare, I was physically exhausted after my first.

Soov567 · 01/06/2019 13:25

40+3 with mine although labour did start on the due date! I was so fed up I went for acupuncture to hurry him along and something worked as I went into labour the next day, maybe give it a try?

TooTrusting · 01/06/2019 13:29

36 +2 first
40 +3 second
37 third and fourth (twins, non surgical birth)

TooTrusting · 01/06/2019 13:30

I went to a homeopath with the DTs and when I felt "ready" took some pills she gave me. Went into labour same day. She said if I wasn't ready the pills wouldn't work.

DramaAlpaca · 01/06/2019 13:33

All spontaneous, 39+2, then 40+5, then 39+2 again. Middle one is still always late for everything Grin

jarhead123 · 01/06/2019 13:34

40+3 and 39+4

40+6. I had contractions for 4 days but the head wasn't fully engaged so things weren't progressing. I had a sweep at 3pm, 40+5, went to hospital at 9pm, was in the birth centre between 10-10.30, the midwife broke my waters at 2am, and baby was born at 6.58 in the morning.

maddiemookins16mum · 01/06/2019 13:35

36 weeks, 3 days. DD was 4lb 9oz.

loveskaka · 01/06/2019 13:37

Yogagirl123 · 01/06/2019 13:37

DS1 39 + 6
DS2 38 + 3

Scoleah · 01/06/2019 13:45

39 weeks naturally on First.
39 week induced on second. (Thought my waters had gone and didn't tell my midwife until the next day at my appointment so induced me)

Scoleah · 01/06/2019 13:45

*Little trickle but turns out I had Weed Grin

Cantthinkofausername1990 · 01/06/2019 13:50

My first was a big baby and he came on his own at 38weeks. He was 9lb 6oz.
I'm 38 weeks now on my second, they say her gonna be bigger than my first so hope he decides to come soon too Smile
Had a sweep on Wednesday and no sign of him yet, just feeling so much pressure

Adreamaday · 01/06/2019 13:51

39 +6 with my first two.
40+6 with my third and that extra week was the longest week of my life.

TwoBlueFish · 01/06/2019 13:53

35 weeks DS1 and 38 weeks DS2

DS1 my waters started leaking and I was induced. DS2 was planned induction as he was measuring very big (I was given choice between early induction or c-section) he was 9lbs 10 and i needed an episiotomy (big head and shoulders).

WhatALearningCurve · 01/06/2019 13:58

Waters broke at 39 - DS arrived 39+1. Everyone kept telling me how first babies were usually late but I'd been adamant from the moment I was pregnancy that I knew he'd arrive before his due date

MintyCedric · 01/06/2019 14:00

42 weeks after being induced and eventually an EMCS. Tbh I was way happier about the latter than the going 2 weeks overdue!

Napssavelives · 01/06/2019 14:03

Currently 38 + 1 and fed up

JustMe81 · 01/06/2019 14:05

Bang on 40 weeks. Was given the pessary the night before due to high BP(although my consultant had wanted to induce me at 36 weeks 🙄) and had baby the next day.

BrokenWing · 01/06/2019 14:09

39 weeks (he was 9lb 1oz) going by the midwife/hospitals dates, but I was always convinced they got them wrong and it was actually 41 weeks. Long story short, ended up with a cs.

NickMarlow · 01/06/2019 14:10

38 weeks with dc1 but that was an ELCS.

Dc2, contractions started at 40+3, had her by EMCS at 40+6.

TheNoodlesIncident · 01/06/2019 14:12

42 weeks, at 41 weeks the hospital staff were agitating and talking about inducing. I felt crushed that they thought I wasn't getting on with it properly. Finally gave in and agreed to induction on 42 week date, labour started naturally at 6 am that morning (but I still got an oxytocin drip and took two days of labouring to get the little sod baby out).
