39 weeks and so, so fed up. Baby is measuring big, I have only put any real weight on on my bump and it’s exhausting.

I’ve had cramps since 37 weeks, they seem to be getting progressively worse but then back to nothing.

So I just want to know to drive myself mad what week you went into labour, especially with the first?

And if anyone knows any secret to getting this baby out, I’m willing to pay Wink

@CastorTroyWantsHisFaceBack would really recommend getting hold of an electric pump - bet there is colostrum, just hand expressing not doing it. I really wish I'd managed to collect some for ds.

Also, it may very well stimulate your contractions!

I had a failed induction at 38 resulting in a section at 38.3, I'm currently 35.6 with an ELCS booked for 39.1 so finding this interesting. Good luck OP!

anitagreen · 01/06/2019 14:38

BlackeyedGruesome · 01/06/2019 14:40

Sex, lots of sex. Apparently. If it does not work at least it is fun.

And to answer the other question 41+1 and 40+6 ISH

Had lots of cramps leading up to.it.

SherlockSays · 01/06/2019 14:41

40 weeks - she came on her due date Grin

Pepperwand · 01/06/2019 14:43

This was me the other week, I had my first at 39+3 so was convinced I'd be early with my second. He actually arrived at 40+2 which isn't even really late but I was going insane waiting and getting so annoyed with the daily texts from well meaning friends and family asking for updates.

I had a sweep and then immediately went for as long a walk as I could manage, baby born the next day.

38 weeks and 4 days- induced x

elQuintoConyo · 01/06/2019 15:08

40+12 (so that's...41+5? Bad at maths!)

We'll say 41.5.

I went in Tuesday evening to be prepared for induction the following morning, but labour started around 9pm and he was salad tonged-out at 9 the next morning. All 4.5kg of him Blush

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 01/06/2019 15:18

40 plus 10 days DD1

36 plus 5 days DD1 (APH)

39 DS (planned section)

I loved those last couple of weeks with DD1. Try to enjoy. It’s a bit magical really. Very best wishes.

Sammy867 · 01/06/2019 15:20

37 weeks with dd. 8lbs4. Pretty glad I didn’t go over considering how big she was at 37 weeks

xiona75 · 01/06/2019 15:24

42 for first, 38 for second

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 01/06/2019 15:25

Ds1- 37 weeks, spontaneous delivery 3 hours labour

Ds2- 38 weeks, spontaneous delivery 1 hour 40 minutes labour.

I was warned if I had a dc3 that it would be unlikely I would get to hospital in time, so I could have it anywhere. I stuck to two anyway! Lol

All inductions for various reasons
Last baby was induced because like you I’d had enough. Had I gone to 40 weeks I wouldn’t have had the energy to push her out, she was 7.14

Newadventure · 01/06/2019 15:34

41 weeks on the dot.

Celebelly · 01/06/2019 15:35

40 exactly. Due date baby!
