Well done to Liverpool, but I have to say that I am gobsmacked at the amount of people I know popping up on facebook and twitter, who are suddenly claiming to be massive fans of Liverpool Football Club, even though they never mentioned being a 'supporter' of them until they won the Champions League. In fact they never mentioned them at all - ever - before yesterday.

Most of them probably can't point out Liverpool on a map, and up to this weekend, probably couldn't name a single LFC player.
