Yanbu ask them to turn the music down/off. Why is their hot tub right under your window?

Well it's not right under my window but we live in small houses and my bedroom window is closest to her garden and she has it right next to our fence so it's under then across a bit. I'm just wondering if it's late enough to reasonably ask her to be quiet.

Ha ha. I love those responses. Thing is she is a nightmare in summer. She has really loud music on all the time and if it's like this on a Thursday what will it be like on a Saturday? She works shifts though and once I went round to say I was having a bbq out of courtesy in case she wanted to close her windows and she seemed really annoyed with me.

You need to nip it in the bud now then and tell her that you can hear everything from her garden and would really appreciate if she would be more considerate after X time.

I would just call out the window and ask her to turn the music down as you are trying to sleep. I think any time after about 9 is reasonable. My neighbours have small children so I wouldn't make too much noise in the garden after 7ish.

If I want to wallow in hot water i have a bath, I don’t want to stick my swimming costume on, go outside, get in a bath and drink Prosecco with my pals skin cells floating past. And as for getting all romantic sigh no thanks.
