I've got laryngitis so feeling rubbish. I've just picked at bits of crap as I can't face a full meal.
I'm going to have some hummus and rice cakes in a bit.

phlebasconsidered · 17/06/2019 20:45

All the mash, peas, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower cheese leftover from yesterday made into bubble and squeak patties with a fried egg on top. Maybe a slice of ham.
Everybody eats all of it, always. Because leftovers are what the roast was for.

Eliza9919 · 17/06/2019 20:46

Portobello mushroom with tomato, onion, laughing cow extra light, half a slice of ham, with celery, baby beetroot, a bit of caeser salad without the crutons and coleslaw.

We had chicken alfredo again. It was freaking awesome.

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 12:51

Home made curry from the freezer with brown rice.

Curry is chicken, red lentil, mushroom and broccoli in a tomato sauce with lots of spices. So glad we have kids who like spicy food!

BentBaastard · 18/06/2019 12:52

I'm going to make some kind of courgetti stir-fry concoction.

Garlic
Chilli
Soy sauce
Prawns

with salad.

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 13:32

@rosemarysalted
Hope the Heinz tomato soup makes you feel better. It’s my go to comfort food too.

notacooldad · 18/06/2019 13:33

rosemarysalted I hope you feel better soon. I had bronchitis a few weeks ago and it knocked the stuffing out of me.

TantricTwist · 18/06/2019 13:34

Lentil and bean chilli with a packet of micro rice

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 13:45

I’ve loved this thread. I’m impressed with the range of foods we all eat. It would have been a lot duller if this question had been asked 30 years ago!

In the last week we have had British, Italian, Indian, Greek and Thai food. I remember inviting a school friend over for dinner in the late 80s and she wouldn’t eat pizza as she’d never seen it before. How things have changed!

Snog · 18/06/2019 13:55

Thai chicken curry

BentBaastard · 18/06/2019 14:27

Tonight we are having pesto broccoli pasta with garlic dough balls.

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/06/2019 14:39

@SwimmerGirl40.
I love it too partly because I'm nosey but I love to get new ideas too, or just remember old favourites.
I hope we can have another one when this is finished.

ChihuahuaMummy1 · 18/06/2019 14:47

Roast chicken,potatoes,peas and Yorkshire puddings with gravy

RobertSmithdoesmyhair · 18/06/2019 14:47
