Following for ideas

We had pasta with fennel, chorizo, tomato and caper sauce.

Salmon baked in a creamy tomato sauce, cheesy mash and green beans. ''Twas yummy.

Cod and chorizo stew from the Sainsbury's Winter Warmers book. I know it's summer but it's so cold DH has lit the fire so stew seems appropriate.

Cod and chorizo stew sounds lovely, I need to cook more fish.

We had steak, eggs, wedges and asparagus.

Haddock with butter beans and chorizo, parsley, olive oil and lemon juice - it takes 5 mins in the microwave but looks quite sophisticated

Vodka, lemonade - diet of course, and lime 🤣

Spaghetti with tomato,chilli and bacon and olives.

Basically what I have left in my fridge.

Last night we had chicken pakora and cheesey chips from the takeaway.
Tonight is just jackets with beans, cheese and salad, Dd is staying out at her boyfriends so just me.

Thai (not so) green curry. With red onion, sweet potato, carrot and red pepper.

I made this last night from a recipe my friend sent me. Really yummy and loads easier than a traditional risotto where you have to stir it forever. I was thinking of tweaking it to make a mushroom risotto next time.

Tonight we have Cajun Dirty Rice from the Pinch of Nom blog - delicious and easy. My DH loves rice dishes so fried rice, risotto, paella, dirty rice are all staples here.

A mushroom, thyme and chestnut pie with baby carrots. If the weather is pretending it's winter then so am I.

Barbecue so kebabs made with marinated chicken (we use the garlic Nando’s marinade), peppers, mushrooms and red onion.
Vegetarian version made with marinated halloumi, peppers, mushrooms and red onion.

Caesar salad and a pasta salad that’s made with peppers, red onion, cucumber and Italian vinaigrette

Sweet potato, chickpea, and spinach curry with cauliflower, carrot and courgette pakora and brown rice.

I'm not making anything, but DH is doing us rib-eye steak, chips and mushrooms - yummy. And we've got local strawberries and cream for after whilst starting the second series of Killing Eve box set.

I’m in by myself tonight. Hummus, big salad and pitta bread.
